He hasn't earn't his place in our team, being surrounded by **** is getting him games here.

Catts not getting a call up is shocking, Wickham not getting a call up is pretty just imo.
 
He's no longer under 21 either though.

I believe U21's is a good place fro Wickham and he hasn't exactly had much support from the rest of the side - against Spurs he led the line brilliantly - he did against Burnley as well but when you have no support after holding the ball up for 15 seconds it just goes to show where we are.

It's been like that for donkey's years, Steve. Five caps for a player of Len Shackleton's calibre? - think about it. Absolute disgrace. And then there was Bent with 24 goals in 2009/10 and got left at home for two players with 23 between them (Defoe with 14 and Crouch with 9). Doesn't bear thinking about.
 
Yeah we must have upset somebody.

England struggle for strikers at full cap level, let alone U21. Who is in at U21 in front of Connor?!

Suffered in the same way Clough did ...... wasn't inclined to bow down to 'the blazers' and lick their shoes.

The whole set up hasn't changed a bit, Hodgson isn't there because he's a winner, he's there because he's fluent in waffle & diplomatic bullshit.

His disgraceful effort in Brazil should've meant he was handed his P45 by the aircrew when he boarded the plane home.
