I bet no one is more surprised about that than Koeman and his squad.

It must be like the ugly kid, at school, who manages to pull a stunner at a party (albeit that she's probably pissed out of her tiny mind); and as he's giving her one he's thinking to himself, "f** me! I hope I don't shoot my bolt too early!" because he knows he's never going to pull another bird like her. But, of course, we all know he does blow his bolt far too early.

That's just like Saints, at the moment If you haven't blown your bolt yet, you very soon will.

Better than erectile dysfuncton......Spurs can't even "get it up" at the moment....better give Pele a call!.....:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Yeah, Swansea and Wigan have shown recently (domestically) that all you need is a short burst of form and/or a bit of luck to win a cup. I think its reasonable to expect us to make the quarters of the EL, then its just 5 games and you could win it without winning any of them.
I think winning the EL is harder than the League cup and about on a par with the FA cup, all of which are easier than 4th in the prem.

I think the EL groups are enough of a joke (2 qualify from group of 4, unless they changed it again, i can't keep up most years) that we shouldn't be worrying about it too much at this stage. The only season we didn't get out the groups was when Harry literally played our youth team (if i recall).

I think a lot of our problem with the EL hangover as was pointed out by someone on our board is the atmosphere at the Lane on a sunday is not as great as on a Saturday. Plus over the last couple of seasons there seems to be a growing pressure that emanates from the crowd when things are less than majestic, all conquering football.

Saturday?? Sunday?? last couple of seasons??.....your support has always been sh*te, the worst supporters followed by Newcastle and Villa. Clubs who are punching at their weight but their fans can't see that!!

If the game is not going your way within the first 20 mins...you will turn on your team like you always do.

What is Poch on about?!! I know we can't hear the questions but what he said about us was neither English nor Spanish. It sounded as if he were speaking backwards, like some ancient devil worshipping curse.

Hence my does he or doesn't he.

If someone were to make me slap a fiver down I'd say he called Saints the best team in the PL at the moment, but I'm not convinced. He's got a ready-made get-out clause with that poor command of English. I think I would have preferred to hear David Salas say it. :)

He defo says we're the best team at the moment. If he means better than Spuds or best in prem **** knows. But his ramblings about Arsenal n the champions league and what he says after he says we're the best, I just don't get.

Oh well, I don't give a monkey's about anything else. DTLW posted earlier that he'd said Saints were the current best team, and I had been on/off looking out for it. In the end I googled Pochettino says Saints are best team in PL, and up came the video.

Nope, i think i'm more qualified on what the Spurs support is like than you.
Also, no need to be aggressive and nasty, i was having a pleasant chat. Take a chill pill.

Seriously though Spurm do you think the players do better away from the Lane because of the pressure from the home fans.

Currently, yes that is my belief. But its been the last 2-3 years rather than something longer. Back in the Redknapp days the Lane was regularly up there in the noisiest/best atmosphere studies they do sometimes.

I think that only counts when you sing your own songs .... :emoticon-0103-cool:
