Yet the fact remains that Pochettino’s former club are already five points better off than his new one.

I bet no one is more surprised about that than Koeman and his squad.

It must be like the ugly kid, at school, who manages to pull a stunner at a party (albeit that she's probably pissed out of her tiny mind); and as he's giving her one he's thinking to himself, "**** me! I hope I don't shoot my bolt too early!" because he knows he's never going to pull another bird like her. But, of course, we all know he does blow his bolt far too early.

That's just like Saints, at the moment If you haven't blown your bolt yet, you very soon will.

hopefully a nice round of "you're (MP) getting sacked in the morning"!

That's what you sang to Hoddle when he was in charge of Spurs. And you were all right!

I was at that game, too! We played like ****e that day.

Seem to remember us beating you 1-0 and 4-0 in league and cup in consecutive games at St Mary's. Remember the gleeful renditions of "You can stick Glenn Hoddle up your arse" echoing around the stadium

Yes, I was at both those games.

After the 1-0 loss, us Spurs fans were hoping we'd, at least salvage something from the FA Cup game, but we got spanked 4-0. I remember it being bitterly cold in the stadium, and the only Spurs players who seemed to turn up that day was Robbie Keane and Stephen Carr; all the other ****ers seemed to be suffering from the Xmas hangover. It wasn't that Saints played brilliantly (although you were very good), but more that we were so utterly ****e.

Seems to be the Spurs way for the last 40 years or so :emoticon-0110-tongu

The two songs I'm looking forward to the Saints end singing are:-

(1) Their usual "ding dong" song: "Same old [insert name of player], Always cheating!" [repeat ad nauseum]

(2) That song slagging off the Skates.

I think it's a far simpler way of life down South than it is in the Smoke.

thats cause the air is clearer down in the sunny southern riviera, and please don't mention skates, it gets us twitching more than a certain Qpr manager!

Also seem to remember us winning 3-1 up at WHL the very next season, with Kevin Phillips looking sheepish because he was taking the plaudits for a Spurs own goal. Hoddle didn't last long after that, if memory serves.

Of course, Tottiiiingham fans are so original Glenda.....Oh wait aren't your mostly sung songs knicked from Manure and us?
