Let's put it out there, what excuses are left from the AWB group? We were told before that once money becomes available, and we were released from our financial shackles, then we would see a difference. So where is that change? The same old problems persist, unless I'm watching something different? Does anyone really think what we've seen so far is an improvement? Well if you do, in this case your tinted opinion is irrelevant because the actual facts say we're worse off than we were last season....So not only haven't we made the needed improvements, i.e. sign a top quality DMF, and a top proven world class striker, we're even performing WORSE than we did from last season! 1 win in our last 5 games is pathetic, 2 wins out of 6 in the league is pathetic, not able to win one big meaningful game in the league in our 2 biggest home tests is pathetic, but this is supposedly the dawn of a new era with money available? So where is this improvement? it's clear as daylight that we're not genuine title contenders, it's clear as daylight we're not gonna win the league or the UCL, oh so we have to be patient again, next year right? It seems every year is a rehash of the same s**t, NEXT YEAR IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER. So what excuse do we have for being so poor? :
I just want to hear the excuses now, they said properly judge when money is available, money is available, and no improvement, so what next? Wait till Jesus comes back to save us all from our sins and rapture us into the heavens?
And I'm not breaking down on one result, there is a broad and short context to how poor we have been, it didn't just start today. This club is going no where, we're not improving, and it's always the same constant **** of underachieving, and watching our rivals achieve, and us fighting for either 4th or 3rd.

Arsenal have played everton manchester city and spurs now and not lost. in all the games they should have won so something must be right. Its been a couple of moments away from being top of the league with a team that has new players getting to know each other. Mesut Ozil was again fantastic today and Arsenal dominated the match. Arsenal are just 6 points off the top of the league table a point behind manchester city and ahead of manchester utd liverpool and spurs. whats the problem then?

As I said, this isn't one game, there is a big context here of underachievement, and a shorter context with the start to this season, which has been abysmal, 2 wins out of 6, 1 win in our last 5, we are piss poor at the moment. And I will repeat, what excuse is there now for us underachieving?
It's not like we're in mid-table or anything, you know. We haven't even lost a game, and we've played Man City, Tottenham and Everton. We're not doing great, but it's hardly like we're dead in the water.

This is a WUM thread and the reason your 'targets' aren't biting is because they don't exist. I don't see anybody making excuses, most people on here are pretty honest about our performances and position, other than you PC that is.
Like us you are still rebuilding, results can't always go your way. Might seem like Chelsea are running away with but they are the inform team, it's still early days beat Chelsea next weekend then you are within 3 points of them. I'm sure your views on the Arsenal situation will change right
but it matters not a jot . This team will not succeed , consistently , while Wenger is here . Unfortunately , an FA cup has bought him another 2 years or so.....
