We have to manage expectations...football is unpredictable. I'm willing to predict that we will have a good season, but not willing to predict on a game by game basis. After the Liverpool and Newcastle games, we thought we'd thrash WBA and Swansea, respectively. Didn't quite work out like that, although we got 4 points. The opposition don't always have the same script as us. Does a ball hit the upright and go clear or ricochet in...small margins. Do Swansea get a player sent off or do we? There are unforeseeable factors...I'm attending the match for a start
We have had trouble in the past when we play teams that park the bus. Hopefully RK has plan for that. For that type of game an early goal is really helpful. Mane won't be able to use his speed if the space is tight. A long range rocket from Clyne would be a good though
Some really sad **** posters on this thread...TBS im happy for a decent game and if you win then so be it..posters that wish harm on other players, managers or posters are just w**kers in my mind. I suppose southampton has its share of f-wits as do we. good luck lads and lose the losers !
I dislike Redknapp as much as the next guy, but I agree with you, a couple of the comments here have been totally out of order, and I trust the mods will be looking at them.
This game worries me but I will most likely be watching the Ryder cup and forgetting about football altogether.
Sadly we have our own share of people that do not respect other club's players or managers as all clubs do. However wishing either harm is not the way the majority of Saints fans think. Not wishing to lose to them is another matter....... Let's just hope it is a good game.....
Oh shut up Mr self righteous. You have no idea what an utter scumbag your manager is. Sadly, not enough people do because the media protect him and bury his stories because he's a "character". The truth will finally come out one day and the house of cards will fall. But he'll be in Monaco setting up another tax dodge in the name of his dog.
@KitmanForbesy: Wow is this the most sharp dressed man in football #saintsfc thanks for the bright start to the day @VictorWanyama please log in to view this image
I don't know much about traditional Kenyan clothing, but I suspect the cap may not be in keeping with the rest of the outfit.
Vic looks enormous & very scary on the football pitch, but all his pics off it makes you realise he's still quite a young lad.
Koeman says Saints had a day off on Wednesday, but José Fonte went to the coaching staff and said the group wanted to train - so they did.
OK, then why not make today the day the truth finally comes out, tell us all your stories about him that the media refuse to.
