Last Saturday was his 50th Premier League appearance of his career. 50 at 25 [just]. That's bloody ridiculous. He's a very capable and almost totally wasted English LB. If Saints have anything to do with it, he'll get to 100 a damn sight quicker, and I wouldn't mind betting that he ends up playing for England a few more times. Incredibly, he's played for Chelsea 28 times since 2006 and this is the 9th time he has been loaned out. Hopefully, the last. BTW, Him and Cork were loaned to Bournemouth together earlier in their careers. Hence they're best friends.
Hopefully the presents of Bertrand and his storey of his poor treatment by one of the EPLs Big Boys will put JRod and JWP from jumping at the first offer they get ie Man City if the media are to be believed Corky was another one really but Bertrand does appear to be an extreme case when he is really starting his playing career at 25
