Joe Hart is a lifelong Liverpool fan and has stated on numerous occasions that he wants to retire playing at Liverpool. His uncle used to take him to Anfield and tell him "one day you're going to play here". / I made all that up.
On isco.... Same argument as Sanchez or di Maria. Players like that don't come available every window or even every second window. Teams have to snap those up!
I'd love us to sign Isco same as I'd have loved D.Costa, Fabregas, Sanchez or Falcao. However, is Isco's position a priority for us?
No but..... It's like this quality is quality and listing those who got paid more elsewhere and rejected lfc more clubs with frankly better trophy winning potential just outlines how hard it is out there and all the more reason to get the guy if possible BEFORE another club snaps him up to bench warm
Yeah I get that. Bit like Arsenal signing Ozil and then Sanchez when they clearly need defensive minded players. The two signings were an improvement on players they and so therefore it improved the team but it had a minimal improvement oppose to buying a DM that would have had a much bigger impact. I certainly wouldn't say no mind
Liverpool FC's transfer rumour momentum concerning the acquisition of former Barcelona star Victor Valdes is building. Simon Mignolet's form has led to former Red Jason McAteer today urging Brendan Rodgers to sign the stopper. Valdes is currently available on a free and recovering from a knee injury and McAteer told The Star: "Simon Mignolet maybe is too comfortable and too complacent and it won't do any harm getting someone in. "With Brad Jones behind him, he probably thinks his place in the team is safe. If he makes a mistake he knows he'll start the next game regardless. Valdes is an option and yes, I think he would come in and compete.
Not really sure why any promising and ambitious kid would want to go to Real unless they're poorly advised by money greedy agents... Ah
Don't be give him expectations he wont meet! It said on some internet thing "the next Xabi Alonso" So probably a quick winger
Real Madrid starting their usual tricks trying to unsettle Sterling. Don't know when his contract is up.
Do they have enough money? Raheem is more important for us than Bale was for Tottenham, and that's saying something! Plus he's still 19 years-old. It would have to be a new world record transfer fee and even then I wouldn't take it if I were LFC. After all, who would we replace him with?
