Good morning Matt and co from a hazy Cote de Bardsey
I for one was delighted by the way we played on Saturday my MOM was Austin but the 2 front men worked his socks off I thought the only blemish was why oh why didn't Redders sub Berradi saving him being sent offI thought it showed his naivity
I feel that Redders time will come again to manage the club if he is patient.i AM sure he will be more involved in the first team in future in the meantime we all wish Darko all the very best

Morning all ... that result on Saturday is exactly what we should be doing to these rubbish teams, thump them good and proper ... Hock's problem was the players had no belief in him at all and it showed, they were very unhappy having him in the dugout ... lovely 5-3 has at least for now stopped the "Champions Are Back" headlines, hilarious ... also good to see Victimpool get bossed by WHU, another performance that shows why they won't win the title ... Milanic will organise our club and make the lads play, so I expect to see more of the same really ... on on on

Morning all - I have to agree with Whitejock, the team wasn't in place the first game of the season and if we had been expected to continue with the opening day squad things would have been a whole lot different this morning.

Maybe the Millwall game was a blessing in disguise, Cellino had made a few noises that the squad wasn't as bad as he had initially thought before the Millwall game, after that defeat we signed (7?) more players who have certainly made a difference.

Fantastic result and great to see us working hard from the 1st Whistle. The confidence in the squad must be really high, I hope Darko is a positive manager and doesn't try a discipline approach to stamp his authority. I take my Bianchi dropping comment back as it appears that he and cook are forming a great partnership. We now have a very strong core to the team Silvestri, Pearce, Cook, Bianchi, Antenucci, Doukara. Around this core we can add pace & flair. The fact that pretty much all the core are not getting booked gives us a good opportunity to keep a similar team. Correct me if I am wrong but historically teams that do well in the Championship do so with a consistent small squad. Lets hope they stay injury free, only worry would be the amount of game time for cook.

He's been excellent, which is a bit of a shame because I was hoping Taylor would get some more games this season! I'm sure his time will come though <ok>

    Good morning everyone.

Fantastic game and performance on Saturday. My 7 year old boy really didn't want to go saying we were going to lose and we're rubbish etc etc.
    What a difference a game makes !
Now he says we're brilliant, played like a premier league side and Antenucci is his favourite player.

For me Bianchi was outstanding but everyone played well.

A special mention for Austin, showed he can be a very good player when fit and motivated. Let's hope Murphy comes back firing when he gets his chance but for me it shows too many players have been underperforming for too long so why is/was that ?

This group of players has massive potential and they do seem love playing for Leeds and more importantly winning for Leeds. If anyone drops below the required level then leave them out and give the next guy his chance to keep the shirt.

We're on the march now and it feels fantastic !

    Morning all <ok>

Great result at the weekend, and playing some proper football as well <yikes>

Its no coincidence that this run has started after the Hock, some of his tactical selections were beyond confusing. Hopefully Donnie Darko will keep the ball rolling rather than upsetting and impressing too many of his own ideas straight away. Redders deserves recognition for including Mowatt and Cook over new signings (Adryan, Sloth) because they have been a breath of fresh air. I hope we retain him as academy boss, but with an influence in the first team as well. Though he may well have a few job offers coming his way.

I counted at least 8 on this thread.

I do admire this new found optimism - I just hope your team can produce the goods against top half opposition as the results against Watford, Millwall and Brighton showed how much you are behind the better teams in the league <ok>

Bournemouth were in the top half when we played them as was pointed out yesterday. They were duly dispatched.

Our team is very different to when we played you as you can see from the opening post.

The team is still gelling, and we have 3 more to fit in yet, who will be good by the way.

    That's why we're optimistic.......

Duly dispatched even though they could have been 4-0 up by half time, and had 21 shots at goal?
Bournemouth haven't won any of their last 6 league games!!

The thing that impressed me the most about Saturdays match was the confidence and panache with which our players played one touch football. That's a great indicator that the players we've got could potentially do the business in the Premier League. Doukaras first touch was particularly impressive to me

I do admire your continued optimism, although you are the only 1 everyone else given up with same old wally crap, and dispite you not beating any team outside the bottom 2 since the first game of the season. Its shown how far you are behind every team bar Fulham and Blackpool.I feel its you or Brentford for 3rd bottom.

This doesn't really sell the new man very well. I hope we don't end up going backwards after the little run we've just started
