Great first half. Have to say i am impressed with leicester. Can see you equalising but hopefully we can go on and win.

Either way. Good look for the season. See what you mean about varde too <ok>

Brilliant performance from you guys. Shame about the ref but full credit to leicester.
Got to admit bad decision and it might have changed the game. But Man U of old would have brushed that off and gone up a gear.
Also how many decisions like that have man utd got over the years

You are definitely right. But this is a new team. It will take time to develop mental toughness when going gets tough. All the signs are there that the foundation is coming together. Ref was definitely man of the match but credit to Leicester for taking full advantage of weak defence.

Well that was ****ing superb lads. <ok>

How that was a (1st) pen I have no idea, but we did kick abit of Manc Poo arse in the 2nd half. I guess they where knackered from playing in the champions lge mid week :emoticon-0143-smirk :emoticon-0140-rofl:

We need to carry it on though now v teams we have a good chance of picking up points from, starting next week.

What decision are you talking about - the shoulder to shoulder challenge or the trip-up from behind?

I know that free kick and the corner you got in the first half were diabolical decisions. Still, thankfully, he did have any bearing on the result.

<laugh>

To be honest de laet should have gone. Never a pen, foul in build up for 4th and a push for 5th. Ball out for your first as well.

Most are decision that can go either way but the 1st pen was shocking.

De Laet should of I think aswell & that pen... well I just don´t know what the ref was looking at, but not sure about the ball going out tbh.

I think it's naive to solely blame the referee for the penalty.

Yes it was a foul on Rafael in the first place, but pure petulance led to the resulting, clear foul.

I suppose I'd make stuff up like this if we'd lost too. :emoticon-0105-wink:

To be fair, Van Gael should have done his homework. He talked about us playing long ball and being a physical side before the match! It's not 1996 anymore my Dutch friend.

I suppose someones got to be that one guy and this time its you.

Anyway congrats, great performance and good luck for the season.

Well, care to explain? It was shoulder-to-shoulder and Vardy was too strong.

Good luck to you too. I think you'll need it if you're serious about the Champion's League.

I genuinely don't get why people think a should-to-shoulder challenge is a foul.

It wasn't quite shoulder to shoulder.

Vardy lent into Rafeal's back while running at a million miles an hour.

It game him an unfair advantage and, when you're running at the pace Vardy was, a push in the back would knock Wes Morgan over.

It's a foul, but the main problem that United fans should be looking into is the naivety of Rafael. He makes the referee give the penalty. He shouldn't have made that poor tackle. Regardless of what happened before it.

But like you say, the referee had absolutely no bearing on the result so it's a waste of time talking about this.

It looked like shoulder-to-shoulder to me. Would like to see it again, as I didn't think it looked controversial at the time. I realise he was travelling at speed, but that's not against the rules. If, as you say, he caught him in the back, then that's a different matter, but I didn't think he did. And it was a penalty because he caught him from behind, which IS a foul, even though the contact was less... physical.

Anyway, I don't think anyone can argue we deserved it. It could easily have been worse for United - Schlupp made some bad decisions when he came on (youthful naivety) that Vardy would have done better with. They looked as poor at the back as they were good in attack. It's a worrying imbalance.

Best game that I have ever been to. Top class entertainment

Never felt so good supporting Leicester

All the shut you get off plastic Manchester United fans. Well they will be getting some back
