They weren't silent on Monday and if my guess is right they won't be silent at about the 20 minute mark at the Man City game.

They don't need to. They've made it abundantly clear what they stand for. Gormless twat.

What symbolism are you referring it to though?

I take it you are referring to the practice of sending white feathers to those who refused to join the Army during WW1 ?

I won't use the term coward.

If so do you realise how silly you're making yourself look ?

Is that the same Robby Fowler that once thought it a good idea to celebrate a goal by pretending to snort cocaine ??

Way to take that celebration out of context...

I think doing such a thing on a football pitch is the the "context" issue lies.

Reading this thread, I'm embarrassed for the club.

Not only do we have some of the lowest turnouts in the Premier League, but we must have by far the highest proportion of pathetic, PL-obssessed, do-anything-with-my-club-as-long-as-you-keep-buying-us-players-and-we-get-to-watch-the-superstars-every-week type fans.

You lot dissing CTWD are a ****ing disgrace to English football, never mind this club.

If I recall, he had been hounded for a good while by Everton fans who were accusing him falsely of being a drug taker. So he did that celebration when he scored against them as a joking response.

    Anything wrong with that?

I presume you thought Boyd taking the piss out if his eyesight after scoring against Forest was inappropriate too.

If you think there is no difference between pretending to snort cocaine and cupping your hands around your eyes as if using binoculars then your perception of what is appropriate or not might need reviewing.

I know the difference, it just seems to me like you are being a bit too precious about such things.

i'll have to get back to you later on this one, dad. there are that many loonies blaming ctwd for stuff that is the chairman's fault on here that i can't remember what i've said to each one and why.

if it's any help, anyone who trots out the "he can do what he likes" line deserves much ire and is wrong, as are the ones who think ctwd are the antichrist, and anyone who doesn't object to the (dead in water) name change.
