I did as well, and Spanish and I can remember loads of it, but I can also remember poems I learned in primary school and that was a while ago

Rhythm and rhyme stick in the mind more.
I can remember lyrics from loads of songs I haven't heard for years.

If someone says hum the tune I start with the chorus and that's it, same for the words remember the chorus but not the rest of the song - some songs I know all the words obviously. I remember our school song too <laugh>

You can't leave us on that cliffhanger.
What could possibly be more annoying than incorrect genitive spelling of a Latin word on a tramp stamp?
Stay tuned to find out!

Not sure it was anything to do with the genitive case, but, then again, language is not my forte. <ok>

She tried to show me up in front of her posh friends for my pronunciation of a famous Greek poet. I then used archaeological latin to prove that i was in fact correct.

I wasn't that bothered to be honest but, due to her peremptory manner, I flipped. Geek style!

Needless to say that was the last straw, and also needless to say, I had the last laugh. <ok>

In English it would be the possessive genitive to denote who the abstract noun form, 'peace', belongs to. In Latin I'm not too sure, since Latin is not my forte. <ok>

I might look into it when I get the chance, LT. What you said sounds right, though. Are you an English Language student, by any chance? I ask that because not many people know / remember about the genitive case. Next thing we know you'll be talking about Gerunds! <yikes>

No, I just remember bits and pieces from A level. Don't get me started on gerunds.

Moses started well - set a goal up and had a nice pop shot himself.

I think he's found his level of play - not knocking Stoke but thats about his level.

But they play in the same division? So it's the same level he played at last season.

If he proves he can score and assist at Stoke - same as he did at Chelsea - then his failure last season is down to how he was used, motivated and coached

Not really, unless you don't understand football and think playing for Burnley would be the same as playing for Manchester United.

Stop being so pedantic <laugh>

It's clear what I meant, he looks more at home playing with players at his level than he did playing at Chelsea and Liverpool <ok>

No the level is Middle table Orem team apart from a team who tried to win the league last season.

He will obviously get goals and assists but like Assidi it will be a small level.

Ignore it Lucasss it's just Tobes trying to start a non-starter of a debate <laugh>

Chelsea are above your level and as tobes said, he wasnt awful there.

Reality is some players just dont work at some clubs. Moses didnt work at liverpool.

You'd have him at United then?

Oh, and pretty sure we finished above Chelsea last year

What Tobes is basically saying is that Iain Dowie is a better coach & motivator than David Moyes because he got more out of Andy Johnson than Moyes managed to!!
