It's a six game league, TMT. No second legs.

I think he means that as Arsenal and Dortmund should be pretty safe as the two sides to qualify from that group then the record against each other will decide who finishes top and avoids teams like Real Hotpsurs, Barcelona or Bayern Munich.

I'm not sure what you mean Luke but Arsenal meet Dortmund on the 26th of November I think and I feel they can turn them over. This is what I mean by the second leg.

  4. Chavs should have a comfortable win, tonight, at home to Schalke.

The Bayern v £ity game is harder to call. On the face of it, the Germans should edge it, especially with the home advantage, but £ity have a good defence and excellent attacking options, which the Germans will be wary of. This one is either going to be a draw or a narrow Bayern victory.

I think Bayern will win by a goal or two. I'm not convinced City believe they can beat a top team in the CL, and they haven't looked overly impressive to start the season.

Bayern do look dangerous. But, so do City on the counter. Looks like shaping up to be a good game...

"Is this a game of chance?"

"Not the way I play it, no."

1 draw, 2 defeats and 1 very narrow win against unheard of Bulgarians.

Where's District Line to tell us how poor the PL is?

Both matches in Chelsea's group were 1-1 Luke so it could be it's a tight group.

...despite being third-bottom of the Bundesliga and in total disarray.

Bizarre form for Schalke. Drew with 1-1 Chelsea and Bayern, yet lost 2-1 and 4-1 to Hannover and Borussia Munchen Munchen Munchen Munchen Munchen Munchen Glad To Be Bach.
Very strange stuff. Totally unimpressive at the Lane in their pre-season game too, though I know that means very little.
They don't appear to have lost anyone significant in the summer, either. Huntelaar's contract is up at the end of this season though, so he'll move on if they don't improve.

No PNP, I just think Chelsea have been punching above their weight in the PL.

There's a pretty good account of what's going wrong here: http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2014...engladbach-final-score-result-2014-bundesliga

No matter how you look at it, Papadopolous to Leverkusen without replacing him is sheer madness.

    No, not bizarre.

  19. Well, I called the Bayern result correctly, but was very surprised by Chavs failure to overturn Schalke.

It's just not happening for The Smug One at Chavs, in Europe, is it!

We've seen the Chavs do this before, start with all guns blazing and then gradually fade.
