In a reasonable world and most of us inhabit one, this should be seen as having slipped it's leash. Deleted threads, words lost and mucktubs adding too much spice. Mel and DMD are different folk, but neither right nor wrong in this. Matters came and went, some posts deleted, and not everything was appreciated. I think my mate standing up for a principle is great, but dotty abuses it. No back downs needed, just a '**** it' and let's get back to supporting Hull City AFC.

I think it was a joke, implying Mackems are so insignificant that people lump you together with Geordies.

Geordie wasn't even linked to football until the 90s when it was used as a way to promote the Mag's successful Hall era. Laughing at Sunderland fans being Geordie shows how unintelligent you are because it's nowt to do with football, we have 1000s of Geordie fans. We call Newcastle fans Mags, and the thick people, much like yourself, who refer to Newcastle fans in a derogatory Geordie term are often pulled on their ignorance, much like I am with you now. I'm not a Geordie, nor a Makem, I'm from south west county Durham. Not far from Barnard Castle. When you've wummed our board this has been explained to you. You're either thick of ignorant. A lot of your own lads seem to think you're ignorant. I Have to agree.

You do realise a massive part of our fan base spans from Gateshead down through the whole of Durham, people from Durham are not Geordies anymore. However loads of Sunderland fans are Geordies.
