Another example of ex-Man U players who fail as managers. They seem to believe that being anointed at Old Trafford gives them the passport to management. Only our Steve Bruce seems to buck this trend. Thoughts??

You could say that Mark Hughes has done ok.

He's carved out a continuous career, if not spectacular or exciting.

Other than that...erm.
 
Not just ex-players, Ferguson's No. 2s have had a few shaky forays into management: Kidd, that Fulham guy, Quiroz (sp), others (probably).
