Leeds Met HCAFC Support The "Silent Majority" is just a term coined by our owner.

We're not insulting you on here, but I think the booing is atrocious. Sure, air your grievances/opinions, but to boo your fans for a chant or it's timing is stupidity. If people want to support Dr. Allam/Hull Tigers - chant your support - but don't boo. Rubs off on the players and management, and causes one hell of an awkward atmosphere.

You mean just like CTWD did with the banner

You're a real clown aintcha.

It's about time this wum got banned? 13 posts of total bullshit looking for nowt more than a reaction and a bit of agro.

The proper Hull City fans should just chant louder and even more passionately. If the name change ever did go through, the passionate supporters who chant week in, week out will probably boycott all home games. Then the KC will be like a library, as the 'silent majority' wouldn't make any noise unless is requires booing their fellow fans. Why would they make any noise? They're the 'silent majority' after all...

imagine the Gooners turning up and singing "just like a library" at our place.. would be a depressing scene :emoticon-0119-puke:

Everyone if free to have a say. Maybe it is time that the majority had a say. Lets find out just who is for and against the name change. With just over 5100 who voted that is nowhere near conclusive enough for me.

This is what I cannot understand in all this now, it no longer matters anymore what percentage of fans are for or against the name chance. This is now a matter for the FA and this arbitration to decide, it has gone passed the point of whether fans are for or against the name change. To start booing at games in totally wrong and counter productive.

Snap.

@HullCityLive: We should sing "City til I die" at 85:04 minutes next home game. Then all the booing will come from half way down Anlaby Road. :D #hcafc

If the chant at 19.04 was Allam out or a variant of that then I might have booed, but of course it wasn't it was a chant we have sung well before Allam ever decided to buy city, it was a chant we made when we were in division 2, division 1 and the championship.
Last night I was disgusted by the boos mostly coming from the west stand. I've sat in the premier club when we played Leeds a few seasons ago and in a box when we played sheff weds. On both occasions you could have heard a pin drop in the west stand. Suddenly some of them find their voice and it's not to yell support for our team it's to boo our most vocal fans. Disgraceful utterly disgraceful to those who booed let's hear you give it a proposer chant at the next home game, or is that below you.
It Allam who has needlessly reignited the issue it's Allam who has made all the provocative and offensive public statements , until last night I wasn't wavering but felt maybe it was time we moved on...not now shame on you for booing shame on you for turning on other supporters for voicing their genuine love for their team.

You musn't say 'City' any more, it may upset the man with the money.

Boo yourself you ****ing ****s. Seriously, sat there booing other fans for singing the name of the club. Just think, sat there in your seats, booing.

PROTECTORS OF THE PROTECTED
DEFENDERS OF THE POWERFUL
SUPPORTERS OF THE RICH

First class. Well said.

I'm afraid we have a country full o' cap doffers.

So we have gone from having a go at Hull City fans for boo'ing which is turning against our fans to doing exactly the same to them?

Does anyone see the irony?

How can we have a go at fans for boo'ing other fans if all we are going to do is take the piss of them?

Surely it would be far more positive for CTWD and us fans to try and educate people about what CTWD believe, what they stand for and that they only have the clubs best interest at heart.

Can't it be both? At least this isn't during a live game and on television... surely you can see the difference? Anything goes here compared to when the players need support.

As one of these 'so called' prawn sandwichers(you can't actually get anything other than soup or a pie in the members bar, they don't do prawns), I'd just like to point out that you can't join the 'in-crowd' the corporate area is full and isn't taking new members, so they're pretty much the same people as last season and the season before that and the season before that etc etc etc

In fact, many of them are the same people who I saw in the corporate section at Boothferry Park(which was actually a large tent with pallets for a floor), so were there before the KC.

Anyone who expects the corporate area of any ground to be a singing section is a bloody idiot and I'm not particularly keen on these sweeping generalisations about who sits where. If you want a pissing contest on our respective Hull City supporting credentials, then we can have one, but I suspect you'll lose by quite some distance.

Normally I'll agree with you, however this time I shan't.

I don't want a contest on Hull City supporting credentials, if anything I've been saying the exact opposite to everyone since Monday. I don't see you as one of the as I called them "prawn sandwich brigade," as I know you're a keen supporter of the football club and have been for many years. I'm sorry I generalised, was a tired evening - but I'm disappointed in what you've said.

I think you're spot on with most posts, but we'll disagree on this one. We agree on most things to do with the name change and what not, but I'm not going to argue with you because you're a corporate member and I'm not, and you were at Boothferry Park while my seat was falling to pieces <yikes>.

You've rather missed the point, the loudest booing came from the south side of the East Stand, not from the corporate seats, where there's rarely any noise at all.
