Where would we be without John Logie Baird?

Or The Jesus And Mary Chain?

Good reasons for wanting to stay together.

Certainly doesn't do anyone any favours..

On a side note.. Love how salmond has lost it again.. With all the business banks all jumping ship. What was his response..

    .......

    Yep

    Scaremongering <laugh>
Default answer to when he hasn't got a clue..

Though it was made better by calling it a conspiracy..

Anyway I hope you all vote no and we can all have a group hug, perhaps a reacharound and all have a go on gas's mrs by way of celebrating our mutual admiration and joy at being British.

    Ffs Nigel.

Standard life . Before the 1997 devolution referendum theatened to pull out of Scotland if there was a Yes vote. There was a Yes vote. They are still here seventeen years later threatening to pull out of Scotland if there is a Yes vote.

Lloyds bank. Already have the HQ in London.

RBS. Stated that moving their HQ down south is a purely technical move and will not affect jobs in anyway. Plus when we **** off and tell you to ram your debt you ****s will own the ****ing thing anyway.

Ta ta Nige we never liked you anyway :emoticon-0109-kiss:

What would you call it when the PM asks supermarkets to come out and say there will be price rises?

Even though some companies have said the exact ****ing opposite.

Aye, its no scaremongering at all is it <doh>

I can't find the picture but according to the newest YouGov or ICM poll most 49% of people are voting yes because of Westminister policy.

6% are voting Yes because of the rest of the UK.

    Aye, we're all nationalists.

So banks trying to push through legislation quickly so they can relocate is a lie? The CEO of asda Iceland, house of Fraser saying that the liklihood of price rises is fairly likely whilst giving legitimate reasons for them is also scaremongering? If someone provides facts as they see them then backs it with a legitimate reason I don't see that as scaremongering. If they were making things up based on fairy stories ala salmond then I'd take your point.

You didn't fancy the reacharound option and a go on gas's mrs then??

Quite clearly you're only listening to one side.

Tesco have already said they have no plans to increase prices. Aldi and Lidl have said **** ALL about raising prices. Wetherspoons have said that its all bollocks.

So, basically, its alright for your examples to be right but its not for those who support an independent Scotlands <ok>

By the way - I wasn't aware that banks could push through legislation (???) They moved their registered offices. Nothing more.

Writing in the Herald today (Thursday) ASDA Chief Executive Andy Clarke stated “I am not saying prices have to rise in an independent Scotland. I am saying that politicians of all sides need to work with business if they want to reduce the cost of doing business and in turn the cost of living.”

    Ooops. From December 2013 .
