There's the famous anecdote of Nikita Khrushchev visiting New York in the 1960's. As he was standing in Time Square looking at all the packed stores full of products and shoppers he asked his tour guide 'Can I meet the man who organises all this?' to which the tour guide responded that no one organised it, he had no idea how it worked as it just organised itself.

All the 'how will this and that work?' questions they are asking the Yes campaign are missing the point - there will be a million moving parts organising themselves once the environment changes. The question should be 'will there be a better environment for them to organise themselves?' and from my experience of living in smaller states they do create better environments because they can target niches (such as oil, finance, gambling!) and concentrate on local issues, rather than have their policies handed down from a one-size-fits-all distant government.

As the UK we are hardly a superstate. Why make it even smaller and even more pointless? You expecting an independent Scotland to be some sort of manufacturing power house ready to rival Germany? Or you hoping Scotland turn themselves into some sort of gambling superstate to rival Nevada?

It's all bollocks to satisfy the whims of a bigot who is stirring **** up to get a yes vote.

Fine. Let's go all the way then. Independence for The North East Of Scotland.

The Central Belt can concentrate on what they bring to the table, chronic diseases, early deaths, unemployment, alcoholism, chronic diets, etc....etc....etc

There has been Scottish Nationalism long before Salmond was born.

Bigot ffs <doh>

I'm fine with that, I'm not a Scottish nationalist. Although it's maybe a bit too cold that far up for me to consider moving - nevertheless the threat of people jumping ship to a cheaper more efficient state should keep Governments on their toes.

Have you ever been to The Central Belt? It stinks and rains all the ****ing time.

Why should it be of no concern?

The country we live in is about to be broken up because of some fat lying twat who has no idea how the **** he is going to make it work.

According to you, but you've clearly not a scooby and not read nor heard Salmond's counter-arguments to the naysayers and doom mongers' scare tactics.

This is a vote for Scottish Independence so it has nothing to do with anyone apart from Scots or people who live here and to take your argument to it's natural conclusion, I should have a say in whether Cornwall ever gets independence, I don't believe I should because basically it has **** all to do with me.

You live in Aberdeen ffs <doh>

A town so full of mutants that even Venom can wander the street without being noticed.

Been to Aberdeen. No thought not.

I've been to Brighton and London many a time. Full of ****s, lezzers, prostitues, darkies, ragheids, heroin injecting scumbags and murderers.

That's it though isn't it. When he has been asked relatively important questions he (salmond) has been unable to give straight answers. It's then portrayed and scare tactics for the population to swallow. When everything is being done on a wing and a prayer.

He hasn't given decent answers to;

Currency
Taxation: bearing in mind he has had the power to raise or lower taxes for years and hasn't.
Eu membership.
Banking
National debt.

All he does is huff an puff and skirt round them. Then when anything gets published which is defamatory it's written off as scare tactics again.
