None of these players were rejected by another team they wanted, and so were then only left with Arsenal as the alternative choice. For ****s sake Falcao was tweeting about joining Madrid!

You virtually have no proper central midfield, Herrera is not the new Scholes, and never will be, he's overrated, he's good, but not THAT GOOD to take you to the levels you were at before, he's basically good enough to maybe give you a chance of ending 5th. You have top strikers, but strikers need people to provide them with the balls, and furthermore if you do play all out attack with the attacking players you bought, it leaves you exposed at the back. Facing a Manu line up of Rooney-RVP-Falcao-Di Maria on paper does seem like a lot, but at the same time you know the other team will score goals with that much attacking firepower in the team, then also add the likes of Mata to the lineup.
Oh sorry, I forgot, you signed Blind, lol, who wasn't that highly rated in Holland. Maybe Anderson can do the job for you? Your central midfield options: Anderson, Blind, Fletcher, Carrick, you got to be out of your f**ing head if you think that's a proper CM that's going to take you where you want to be. Di Maria is a WINGER, I'm talking about central midfield options, how silly of you. Anyways, talk up Blind, just like you did Anderson. You're central midfield compared to the top 4 teams in England is a sack of ****. Carrick-Flethcer-Anderson-Blind-Herrera, mid-table quality written all over it.
We have no idea just how good or bad herrera and blind will do but we do know both come highly rated in their former leagues. We also know di marias very best season cam playing lcm in a 3. So while hes spent much of his career playing left wing, hes more than capable in midfield too. It may even be his best position.
Oh and our former midfield was midtable quality. Weve got a brand new one now. Its going to be much better.
