Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
I think you need to recognise the general trend here, GarngadPape.

The horrific No Thanks campaign is utterly hopeless. Their scare tactics are no match for the unrealistic utopian vision being promised by various contradictory voices within the Yes camp.

I think that it'll come right down to the wire and I have already decided to spoil my vote by virtue of drawing an ejaculating penis on the ballot paper.

God, isn't being a grown up really exciting?

You do know that it is illegal to spoil ballot papers. Is it wise to leave such an obvious clue to your identity when committing such an act?

I note that a prominent speaker for Yes and personal friend/lover of ST is Patrick Harvie.

I also note that in the last Euro Elections, UKIP polled more votes in Scotland than the Greens.

How did this go down in the Harvie/Julian residence?

Once again, and not surprisingly, you are wrong.

It is not illegal to spoil a ballot paper, nor is it illegal to draw an erect phallus erupting.

My wish is for you to use the amazing piece of technology that has been afforded to you (the internet) to learn about stuff that will allow you to make a positive contribution to the site as opposed to trawling the forum making an absolute **** of yourself with near every single post.

Good day, Sir.

There is actual quotes from a Tory MP in the article you absolute rim job.

*are

Also, <doh>

It's the fact he was quoting the Daily Mail, something no one should ever do to prove a point.

Go run into a glass door like your spastic spawn.

It's the quotes in the article that was the focus, not the publication Toby. Now try and calm down a little.

A 1000 mindless morons with their pipe and drums and their Union Jacks and their Queen will be marching in Edinburgh just before the vote.

That should do it. <party>

40,000. Along with countless drunk spastics on the footpaths :)

And the UK has 1.4 TRILLION of debt The Irish have Guinness and owe the UK some money.

And, should a sensible solution to Sterling be reached, Scotland will start off with a proportional share of that debt, some £104bn and rising. The tories are committed to running a surplus in the next parliament and Salmond is committed to giving parents £5k for childcare, pensioners more than £100 extra per week, reversing the bedroom subsidy legislation AND cutting taxes? How will Scotland's deficit be brought under control?

Well, according to the SNP, they aim to run a surplus in 20 years, by increasing migration to Scotland by 30,000 people every year. That's equivalent to a city like Glasgow getting built.

The Irish are indebted to the tune of €20,000 per person due to the bail-out. Scotland would've been in a similar, if not worse situation should a similar crisis occur in the future. (Though I was reading that Ireland has paid back 30% of it's bail-out)

You can drive a bus through the SNP's fiscal plans, worryingly considering Salmond is an economist to trade.

The UK debt is = to around £22,000 per person.

Your 30,000 extra people should be 22'000. Don't forget that at the moment 30'000 Scots leave each year to find work. So creating extra jobs here would do the trick.
