Well technically the last decade goes back to 03/04 so we've won a league title, two fa cups and a community shield or two.

Mate hes on 125k a week, 96 different sources and 207 different figures. All to show welbecks on a hefty 90k. Personally i think its a fair salary, 110k per week for a talented footballer. Cant complain over 60k can you.

I'll give you the second fa cup. The league was over 10 years ago though, may 2004.

Har de har har, very funny!

I think it's definitely more likely that your overpaying on falcao a wages than us overpaying on Welbeck :p

We're still in 2014 and we won the league in 04, might be a couple of months difference but your just being a pedant... Though I was being a pedant when I first answered your point..... Fair play.

Wouldn't be so sure. Welbecks certainly not taken a pay cut and he was on around 75k at united playing off the bench.

    Hes on 100k plus imo.

He's not going to be made one of our best paid players. He will be on under 100k.

You will have more than you think on 100k. 100k is tge new 50k. An average wage for top clubs.

It's definitely not the average wage at arsenal.

When Walcott signed his contract extension he became one of our first players at the 100k mark. We will only have a handful of players on more than that amount.

Unfortunately, clubs are so secretive, there is no way either of us could prove it unless you have insider information (ie you work for finance at the club).

and seeing as this is a thread on the ARSENAL board, then this post sort of does concern me.

also i hate seeing people that are wrong, and like correcting them.

Actually you dumb f**, I'm responding to you idiots, you started the ramblings, I'm merely responding. :).

Anyways, keep telling the world how great and mighty you are, when you haven't managed to win a single game, oh right though Falcao will save everybody right? First it was when RVP is fit and back, then it was when RVP-ROONEY-MATA play together, then it was when Di Maria came, and now lol it's Falcao who will save the day.

You want to believe Falcao is on £350k a week with no evidence to try and justify why he chose United over Arsenal due to Arsenal not being willing to match his wage demands

Yet your here saying Welbeck is not on £150k a week but yet again no evidence no proof <laugh><laugh><laugh>

There is no evidence that Falcao chose MU over Arsenal. This is because we never made an approach for him due to his excessive wages. It is true that he did tweet to say hello to Madrid, which he then deleted. So if anything he chose MU over Real Madrid.
As to his wages, and as to Welbecks wages, you have no proof of what either are getting and are speculating as you have no insight to the truth. Unless of course you are the agent for either player or work at either club in a position of trust to know such privileged information.
Until you can provide a certified copy if either players wage slip to prove your guesstimates then jog on

f** me, I've already addressed that, assuming we are level on points doesn't put us at the same level, incase you haven't noticed, we would have faced Everton and Mancity, who the f** have you faced that's worth anything?

Swansea are currently on the same points as Chelski, by your logic, guess they're equal eh?

More like Madrid told him to **** off and he then went to plan B, Manunited. United were never his first choice, the same applies to Di Maria, basically there's a lot of players at United right now that didn't really intend to be there. :).

And I'm sure all the players you got were desperate to join Arsenal lol..... You might have had a harder start than us but it don't mean we will accumulate the same amount of points as you from those games and if you hadn't noticed Swansea are sitting joint top :emoticon-0105-wink:
