Of course not Eamon; the gentleman on the left is Mr Waitijng and the other boy is Mr It. I think it's a draw
IMO I have nothing against Hughes Doing alright now and good luck to him The laugh is that many have compounded their hate into one channel being Hughes ... You are ill and have no idea that you are The very same energy is poured into any channel at QPR currently SWP or Taarabt, Cesar You silly sick pigs wake up
DT has a point. We seem to need a figure of hatred, be that current players or past managers. Enough.
We're all passengers on this great voyage of life, even Sparky - he somehow inspired the team to win 5 home matches on the trot that kept us up and also gave Adel an opportunity to play and shine.
Think your going a bit over the top there, mate. Were just acknowledging that whether it be Hughes, Adel or SWP .............. we QPR fans don't like being used and abused by people who get paid sqillions of dollars and continue to not give a toss. Rather than sit back and let it happen without any feedback, we choose to let our feelings be known, nothing more, nothing less. If for example, Adel or SWP were to let us fans know that they will try to change their ways and get stuck into it, then I'm sure the fans would respect that and back them. As just recently stated by Adel, he's come out and said, "l'm going to have a dig for the club" ............... great! We'll back him big time. Were not sick, just passionate fans who don't like to be screwed over, simple really. Come on you R'rssssssss !
Come off it Dave I'm wide awake, Hughes simply can't coach! I know our present incumbent isn't great at it either but at least he has some sort of plan in mind, whether it's right or wrong. Right was the Sunderland performance, horribly wrong the Tottenham one, at least Redknapp admitted he got it wrong, Hughes wouldn't make an admittance like that in a million years. Hughes is living off the back of a solid Stoke City set up with a decently drilled defence and is just adding the pretty little finishing touches. That 1-3 home defeat to Southampton under Hughes was defensively the worst I've ever seen from a QPR back line. And like you mate I've seen some shockers over the years.
Time will tell Hughes was just a catalyst to vent by a lot of QPR fans and IMO is a way better coach than our current one The mistake was clear to see that we tried purchasing a team in a time of panic ... It's that situation that was clueless we know that now Sorry but its typical of a team with money and big ideas I am proud that I am grounded enough to know that there was a time when having Mark Hughes at LR would have been a massive deal for our club Yes you are sick as the club has been swept away with dreams at times Tango and Cash who started the erosion of simple but pure minds are far more to blame if you take stock Hughes did not get us relegated Harold did
Do me a favour DT...can we ut this thread on the joke thread now Hughes didnt get us relegated........ Dont really know what planet you are on sometimes mate. its your oinion and thats fair enough but id suggest you are way out there alone on this one mate
Show me the record that States Hughes took us down it don't exist Harold did I would blame Chris Samba before Hughes SWP or Bosingwa If I am on my own then good as time will show you I have a point How a group of people can hang onto their mis beliefs is beyond me Come the zombie apocalypse I will still be standing with a free mind make certain of that xxx
Planet DT I'd say, where he always defends the indefensible. We were relegated because Hughes had lost the players so totally we couldn't recover, a 'toxic squad'. The fact Harry got us back up in one season, despite some of the turgid football we endured is measure of how he'd eradicated that poisonous attitude from the squad. I don't hate Hughes for what happened, it was just a bad choice of summer signings that didn't 'gel' and he paid the price, we should all move on and a win over Stoke would, perhaps, lay the ghost of his era...
DT is right. Hughe's biggest mistake for me was getting in players off of a shopping list from his agent. But he failed to hold them together of get the best from them, but the quality of the players meant they should have performed far better than they did and I feel most of the blame should be on them. But it is easy to vent anger on to Hughes because collectively things went so horribly wrong in this period. It's also true that most of our fans nowadays are so easily turned into a baying mob and turning their hatred, and for the most part unfairly in the direction of "this weeks" number 1 target. Look at the abuse Zamora used to receive, even though the guy was forced to play through pain in order to try and keep us up. Last year he was forced to cancel surgery in order to see out his contract with us, look what happened. Austin took heaps of abuse when he joined us and he went on to pretty much single handedly score the goals that kept us in the promotion race. Then there's Rednapp, where so many people criticise and blame him for everything negative and then give credit for any success at the feet of anyone but him. I don't blame anyone, I think we've all been guilty of over reacting to certain points in the last few years. Nothing is ever easy at our club, the few highs are unfortunately outweighed by the frequent lows. Stability has been hard to come by, but I think we're slowly getting there. I hope, ney pray! That we survive this year so that everyone can start to feel calmer, so we don't have to fear relegation each year. Then hopefully we can get back to being level headed in our expectations, but also put perspective on to our situation and not always looking for a scapegoat for our frustrations. It's so frustrating seeing our own fans picking on people within our own club, that's usually the job of opposing fans. I'm not having a pop at any genuine concerns or even moaning when it is back up by facts, but too often it's just unfounded fear over something that will probably never happen and it's this that I don't like. It's turned fan against fan and has nothing but a detrimental affect on the team and club as a whole, as it's us fans that are the constant factor in the story of Queens Park Rangers and if we're not together, what has the club got?
Come the Zombie Apocalypse...I have a plan.# It involves some shotguns (which I admit I haven't got yet, but there is a gun shop up the road), the upstairs window which give me a beautiful firing range of our already constructed 6 foot walls. We give up the downstairs, but barracade fully, and stay just in the upstairs...where we can see front and rear Food in the larder, chickens in the spare bed...next door has a well. Sorted And if you DT can come and stand out side on the road where you " will still be standing with a free mind make certain of that"....that would give me a clear line of shot Should be able to get hundreds of them.
