I'll just repeat what I said earlier, Hughes can't coach. Sure the bloke we've got in charge can't either but he did get us up in one season didn't he? I'm not a fan of Redknapp's but I can't argue with that and nor can you.

I suspect like you, i'd love to see a progressive intelligent young coach in charge, who knows this may well happen if Redknapp retires at the end of the season? Tenuous as link is I would like to see Paul Clement given a go.

And you say I'm sick? Yes you're right! Sick and tired of my club being taken advantage of financially and getting it's name besmirched at every turn. And that includes seeing someone like SWP still robbing a living off my club. He's a poor player DT, sure once upon a time there was a good player there. Now he's just a parody, a prime example of what is wrong with football.

HIGH SCHOOLER’S CLAIM TO HAVE KILLED NEIGHBOR’S PET DINOSAUR LEADS TO HIS SUSPENSION AND ARREST

Police were called to Summerville High School in South Carolina after a ninth grader’s writing assignment triggered a red flag for his teacher.

It was only the second day of 16-year-old Alex Stone’s freshman year when he was arrested and suspended for his response on a writing assignment. The assignment was to write a few sentences about himself, and include a Facebook status. Stone decided to approach the Facebook portion as a fictional story. He wrote, “I killed my neighbor’s pet dinosaur. I bought the gun to take care of the business.”

According to investigators, the teacher saw “gun” and “take care of business” and contacted school officials, who then contacted police. Officers searched Stone’s locker and school bag, but found nothing. When they asked Stone about what he wrote on the assignment, he said it was a joke. According to police, Stone was deemed disruptive and detained for disturbing schools. Stone was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. According to the school, he has been suspended for the rest of the week.

When interviewed by local news, Stone’s mother, Karen Gray, stated, “I mean first of all, we don’t have dinosaurs anymore. Second of all, he’s not even old enough to buy a gun.” Gray is furious that the school never contacted her about what Stone wrote on the assignment, and did not contact her before he was arrested. Her son followed directions and finished his assigned work. She told reporters that while she understood that what her son wrote was of a sensitive nature, the reaction to it was simply rash.

Summerville police, not surprisingly, are telling a slightly different story. In light of the massive array of school shootings in the last few years, they are focusing on the “I bought the gun to take care of the business” comment. They state that the charges against Stone stem from conduct they describe as “irate” during the search of his locker and belongings.

What do you think, dear readers? Did the teacher’s reaction go too far?
