First of all, we aren't good enough. Let's get that out the way.
But still, you're all daft sods. We proudly say we were there when City were ****, yet when England are **** now half of you are going on about wanting the opposition to win. No one wanted City to lose in protest against the ineptitude of Dowie, Parkinson, Molby etc. It's bollocks all this 'falling out of love with it' just cos we aren't winning enough. Grow some balls.
As I've said before though, the problem clearly isn't that simple. We've used so many different personnel and a few different managers but England lately just don't threaten enough. We can keep the ball and move it about but we can't hurt teams. Whoever the pundit is nailed it early on; the players can do it as they show us week in week out, but they lack something when playing for England and can't seem to create **** all. Whenever we play **** countries like Norway we always seem to go in at 0-0 having hardly had a chance to score, then often as not it's masked by a goal from a set piece.
I'm still an England fan though.
You can’t compare supporting City with supporting England.
The rules don’t apply.
