He's a free agent at the end of the loan.

    I assume so.

This is all too surreal for me.

Foreign clubs can, we can only speak to him in January with Newcastles permission. Otherwise we have to wait til the season ends.

It certainly is. It's crazy enough seeing us sign proper quality in vast numbers, but to see a player at Hull City who, when on his game, is up there with the very best attacking talents in the world, is beyond wild dreaming.

Looks like Bruce is thinking of playing him on the left, though Newcastle fans seem to say he is better central?

"Certainly when (George) Boyd left, we thought he can play on the left"

I agree with this, he's always looked dangerous when given a free role in the middle rather than played out wide as a winger where he can become isolated if he's tightly marked.

It'll be interesting to see what team Bruce puts out against West Ham.

We should go back to the old days of 4312 (Geo, King, Cousin)

    Rosie Chester Davies Roberston
    Thudd Diame Livermore
    Ben-Arfa
    Jelly Hernandez

    Interesting I assume you mean
    ---------------McGregor--------------
    Elmo--Davies---Dawson--Robertson
    --------Diame-------Livermore-------
    --Huddlestone--Ben Arfa--Ramirez--
    -------------Hernandez---------------

I would play a 4411 with Diame in the holding role and Ramirez in the point of the diamond 4 in the middle.

Would love to see him used behind Jelacic and Hernandez. If he's used as a wing back I will cry.

Huddlestone on the right wing, you crazy! Swap Hudd for Ben Arfa and Livermore for Hudd and you may be close. Livermore may drop out and Ince come in.

In all the years I saw Galvin do it I cannot recall any defender who was not bamboozled, tragically what came next usually bamboozled us !

We aren't going to drop Jelavic, hes our joint top scorer and the only one whos justified his selection for the last 3 games. I agree with the poster above, we should go 4-3-1-2.

Agreed, Jelavic is nailed on to start the next match. Almost certainly alongside Hernandez unless he comes off the bench instead, with it being his debut etc.
