That's why I mentioned bout Bruce building the team around him, that never really happened here (not saying it should of). Also like someone above said Koeman was only saying the other day that he was a creative spark within the squad.
 
Hull fans seem VERY happy about Gaston signing.

I'm less so, but intrigued to see how he does if he gets an injury free run (is he off on international duty next week? That'll put paid to that if so....)

I think he will be average like he has been for us anyways. Don't get me wrong he has talent, but he dwells on the ball too much for The Prem style of play. That is not to say I wouldn't mind him staying.
 
I am a big, big fan of gaston and think he has tremendous ability. I do, however, understand why we'd do that as he hasn't lived up to his ability. Shame, but seems we have another player about to sign that would close an avenue for Gaston.
 
Hope he doesn't go if so will be relying on Tadic and the new guy for that 'spark'. Injury to Tadic and we'd suddenly look very light again.
 
Looking like its going to be very exciting transfer window. Team playing great and two new potential stars. Whoop!
 
Not too fussed about Gaston moving. He doesn't really fit into our system anymore and has been pretty much a consistently average player. Never lived up to his potential so hopefully this move might spark him into life and he can return next season.
 
Gaston sees things other people don't see. The fact that no one else is on his wave length is a bit of a problem - no point being a genius if nobody understands you.
