RJ what a complete load of horse manure you spurt sometimes (all times in fact). I predict you will never be happy with anything. You are so depressing. How do you put up with it?
"Kicking out" equates to "surplus to requirements" or "deal too good to turn down". For Michu, we acquired Siggy. For Vorm, we acquired Fabby. Chico - Fernandez. Pablo - Montero/Ki Vasquez - Gomis. All are upgrades. Davies is the only player we haven't been able to replace with better, although Taylor is fine as cover and Jazz looked solid against Rotherham.
See Stambouli went for the money and the comfy seat on the bench! Also 'the hoops' have got themselves a new team to go back down!!!! No business for us, IMO we will go for 2 loans. What do you think?
Looks like levy did a job on Huw regarding Vorm and Davies and has also taken Stambouli. In addition, by telling the world that certain players have no future at Swans we have had to sell them cheaply or cancel contract, in the case of canas. No way would Vorm have wanted to go and not even get on Spurs bench... he was eased out when Liverpool didn't want him. I watched Bony when he went off on Saturday, and there didn't appear even a word from Monk.. a bit odd from a Manager desperately trying to keep hold of his star striker days before close of transfer market. I am sure we would not have got Gomis if we expected Bony to stay. I expect both club and Bony expected him to leave, but perhaps both Huw and or Bony wanted to much money.
Disagree, look how instrumental Gylfi has been for us. Not to mention Fabianski. We got the better end of the deal here. Gylfi is playing like a £15-£20 million player, if you compare him to Joe Allen etc.
Fabianski and Gylfi have been fantastic signings. I see Fabianski as a massive up grade on Vorm, how refreshing to see a goalkeeper to come and claim the ball. So with Vorm going we got the better deal, especially when he can't even get on the bench.
I was not necessarily questioning their performances since arriving or even if there were upgrades or not. Regarding Vorm I was questioning whether he wanted to leave and whether we got his true market value. Equally maybe Gylfi may well prove to worth a lot more than we paid but at the time we bought him he had a medicore season as a sub and not sure at that point in time he was worthy 10 + million.
