I've always assumed Bassong would go out on loan, in which case clubs won't be wasting time sorting that out today

Didn't think Redmond would go. Too high on Adam's priority and I think a lot of clubs will know we are going to play hard ball and that'll put them off from the start. All these rumours about Hooper to Palace for £5mil are not even worth looking at. We will not sell Hooper, unless an offer in excess of £10 mil comes in, even then I reckon we'll push for good add ons and the like. This is all conjecture on my part but that's the way I'm reading it.

I'm a nervous wreck watching & reading all this speculation about Hooper & Redmond.
I'll be totally gutted if let either go now.
Just don't see who'll we replace them with, especially Hooper! Damn you Colin if you get him,I don't think I could dislike someone any more !

Fair price. Shame as he offered something different, but I can see it makes a lot of sense for all parties. He was well down the pecking order. Makes up a chunk of the Grabban fee.

Me too Chippy if we sell Fer Snodgrass Pilkington Hooper and Redmond then the 3 years raking in millions of pounds and strengthening will be undone in the first month outside the Prem.
We will be sending out a message that we are a Championship club for the next 10 years again.

I think that may well be the key, Kemp. We now have a pretty good idea what the new strike force of Grabban, Lafferty and Jerome will be about, and if Hooper stays that will be a very strong front-line. The midfield has improved dramatically under the new management and we still have Howson on his way back. Odjidja may well bring another dimension to that improvement and help to provide the service that the strikers need. that's my hope anyway.

I really wasn't to worried about Snoddy going, he'd turned into a one trick pony.
Sick note, once again was never going to hit the heights of his first season.
But Hooper is the one, we've not seen the best of him yet and I'm certain he'd score a hat full this year.

Goal.com are reporting that we've agreed to loan Jos Hooiveld from Southampton for the season. Lots of stuff on twitter too to about a move.

Would much prefer that to Miguel, unless it's part of Redmond going in the other direction!

As long as Hooper stays, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see Grabban playing where Lafferty is and Hoops upfront in the not to distant future.

Exactly that would be pathetic, in the past we've been absolute suckers when someone flashes a bit of cash. When fans say they'll take 8 million etc they don't realise that you need fight for your possessions if you're going to get anywhere, also they forget the time it took to get this squad together, the years of operating on shoestring budgets after previous managers trashed money on a bunch of failures, then three years later replacing them with poundland cheapjack signings and a bunch of loanees.

People need have a reality check they seem to forget the bad times at this club, they need to stop wrapping things up in wooly blankets because it's easier to fall back to those dark days they think.

Good Championship CB, Hooiveld is. Nice guy too, and always score in midweek games.

Basically Fer Redmond and Hooper were our stand out players that other teams want , we sold Fer and bought an untried replacement so i can take that but there is no way we will be able to replace the other 2 .

On loan? So basically we will be paying high wages for someone who will hardly feature for a season .

Not sure what you mean by an untried replacement, SN23. Odjidja has five caps for Belgium and very strong endorsements from Vincent Kompany and Romeleu Lukaku, who both think highly of him.
