Falcao loan to United has been agreed, subject to medical and terms apparently. Who saw that coming??

Just read than Manure have spent more in the past three transfer windows since SAF retired than they did in the previous 15 years with him in charge!! <yikes>

Amazing that it's Citeh who are always blamed for "ruining the game" with their financial clout, however when you look at what they have spent in the past few seasons very little of it is wasted, unlike the millions Manure have hemorrhaged on crap players and paying way over the odds on good ones. Kompany and Zabaleta both cost just Citeh £6m, meanwhile United have spent £30m on an unfit, and largely untested left back. Crazy.

Just don't understand why they keep buying more attacking players when it's obvious they need at least one top quality centre-back and a midfield enforcer. Someone at Old Trafford needs shooting if you ask me.

Surely selling our captain would be a disaster, looks like bullshit.

For me as well, but I was surprised with the Miquel thing as I have seen him in action and he is nowhere near as good as Rusty.

Sell or give?

Surely we need to get his wages off the books. I dread how much his wages are.

I'm guessing at least 30K a week. One and a half million per annum just to sulk. Wish I could have some of that.

It's a shame that his contract is not written in a manner that would instil motivation to play and get himself picked. If things could be turned around he would add quality to the defence.

So is he actually sulking?

Maybe Adams just doesn't rate him? Maybe Superman knows?

Sky sports transfer center:
13:40

Roger Clarke is at Southampton’s Staplewood training ground and he has an update on Ronald Koeman’s desire to bring a winger to the club. Senegal international Sadio Mane is their main target and an £11.8million bid has been made to Salzburg, but we are yet to hear whether that bid has been accepted. Should their move for Mane fail Norwich City playmaker Nathan Redmond remains on their radar, though, no bid has been made for the England Under 21 international.

Meanwhile, literally thirty seconds later, from FL72 transfers :

Norwich winger Nathan Redmond looks set to move to Premier League side Southampton after a £9m bid was accepted.
Saints’ chief Ronald Koeman has revealed the south-coast club are in the market for a wide player ahead of Monday evening’s summer transfer deadline and they seem set to sign their main target.

The 20-year-old Birmingham-bred wide player moved to Carrow Road in July 2013 for £3.2m. Redmond has now played 39 league games for the Canaries, scoring one goal ironically against Southampton in a 1-0 Premier League win last season. The transfer will be completed before the deadline tonight subject to personal terms and a medical.

One of the last two reports is rammed full of porkies, then! :emoticon-0112-wonde
