Answer revealed at the C&S - the Golden Takim, a large goat/antelope thing, is thought to be the inspiration for the Golden Fleece legend. It is now only found in Sichuan Province of China.

    Your go Terry

Thanks Stan, though I'm not sure how I qualify!

After such a nasty question i shall revert to football.

I believe (but may be wrong) that only one player has won the Premier league, FA Cup & League Cup whilst playing for different clubs. Name him please.

I have a different answer - if any of these are before 1891, you are right and I have been cruelly misled........

Mine was a pure guess, based on the story of Charles Miller who introduced football to Brazil. Just looked it up, and he didn't arrive there until 1894.

    Fromhttp://www.footy4kids.co.uk/history_of_football.htm

(see where I get my knowledge from footy$kids...an obviously reliable source!!!)
It also says football associations, not necessarily league....did you have the answer New Zealand???

"The spread of football outside of Great Britain, mainly due to the British influence abroad, started slow, but it soon gathered momentum and spread rapidly to all parts of the world. The next countries to form football associations after the Netherlands and Denmark in 1889 were New Zealand (1891), Argentina (1893), Chile (1895), Switzerland, Belgium (1895), Italy (1898), Germany, Uruguay (both in 1900), Hungary (1901) and Finland (1907)."

I do hope that its OK to table a question without correctly answering the previous one: Name an Uncle and Nephew who played in the same team.

I think the question may be dodgy. My info says that the Argentinian league was set up in 1891 (by a Scotsman), which would appear to be before their association was founded....hmmmm, take it away Beth

    Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko.

Did Les and Rio ever play on the same team?

You didn't say they were footballers.....

but a lunch time off working meant that I had time to research this and came up with

Michael Laudrup is part of a family with three generations of footballers. His uncle was former Brøndby and Aberdeen manager Ebbe Skovdahl, they both played for Bronby in the early 1970s when Michael was a youth and hsi uncle was player manager. I do not know that they played in the same team...but they were certainly playing football at the same club...

    Am I close
