Typical plastics. So what's the option, move over to City? Arsenal or Chelsea? If you can't support your team through bad times, then off you go. Most of you have been spoilt under SAF, and never seen the bad times. But if it doesn't suit, off you go, you won't even be missed.

We were abysmal tonight, MK deserved the win, so get over it.

My one and only interaction with you on here before showed you to be a bit of a drama queen, but I have to commend you for this comment. You're right, even though you were humiliated tonight the real fans have to stick by the club and manager and support the club through the tough times.

This is a real test of Utd supporters. Most of you have only ever known success under Fergie and don't know what it's like to have to rebuild a squad from scratch and learn to grind out results again. It might be a long road back for Utd, but RedBonnet is right, you have to support your club through thick and thin, not just when you're winning.

I am off to support Bradford City and QPR...<wah>

Van Gaal- "I have seen them trying to do their utmost best, and you cannot ask for more from players. And also we were unlucky"

I was at OT for the 3-0 defeat to York. I feel like I missed out on a moment of history this evening by not going to the game. What a double claim to fame that could have been.

Edwood Woodwood will be struggling to get hold of his counterpart at Juve this evening to discuss any deal involving Hernandez.

Stop being such a girl <laugh>

Its the league cup at the end of the day. The home defeats last season, one after the other, were far more embarrassing.

This game killed some careers though.

Those defeats where against premier league opposition though, we have been totally embarrassed tonight and beaten by 4 goals by a league 1 side. Yes going out of the league cup is no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's the manner of the defeat that is embarrassing:biggrin:

In a game like this you just have to take your hat off to the winning team. We were dreadful but any united fan who questions his support over something like this is a disgrace.

Smith is taking the piss obviously.

I am so gutted for losing this wonder cup that I am thinking of supporting the Dons now...<wah>

Thanks for that Piskie. Yes, I am angry at being let down, but having just visited a very close pal who has been diagnosed with the big C, it tends to put things into perspective. Football is an entertainment, and a passion, that does not change because of a few bad results.

A true fan doesn't slag off the manager, and demand changes after less than 2 weeks in charge. LVG did say he needed 3 months, so all I can suggest that if the fans are not happy with that, then move on. I am sure there will be another team doing well you can all move on to, but does it make you a true fan? Not in a year of Sundays. So stop bitching, and accept we are under a new regime.
