My one and only interaction with you on here before showed you to be a bit of a drama queen, but I have to commend you for this comment. You're right, even though you were humiliated tonight the real fans have to stick by the club and manager and support the club through the tough times. This is a real test of Utd supporters. Most of you have only ever known success under Fergie and don't know what it's like to have to rebuild a squad from scratch and learn to grind out results again. It might be a long road back for Utd, but RedBonnet is right, you have to support your club through thick and thin, not just when you're winning.
Van Gaal- "I have seen them trying to do their utmost best, and you cannot ask for more from players. And also we were unlucky"
I was at OT for the 3-0 defeat to York. I feel like I missed out on a moment of history this evening by not going to the game. What a double claim to fame that could have been. Edwood Woodwood will be struggling to get hold of his counterpart at Juve this evening to discuss any deal involving Hernandez.
Those defeats where against premier league opposition though, we have been totally embarrassed tonight and beaten by 4 goals by a league 1 side. Yes going out of the league cup is no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's the manner of the defeat that is embarrassing
(tonight they confirmed to all of us that these players are ****. How did you not realise that in january when I was saying it. januzaj may the exception)...
In a game like this you just have to take your hat off to the winning team. We were dreadful but any united fan who questions his support over something like this is a disgrace. Smith is taking the piss obviously.
It is the worst since SAF left, that's for sure. Outclassed by a league one side and beaten out if sight
Thanks for that Piskie. Yes, I am angry at being let down, but having just visited a very close pal who has been diagnosed with the big C, it tends to put things into perspective. Football is an entertainment, and a passion, that does not change because of a few bad results. A true fan doesn't slag off the manager, and demand changes after less than 2 weeks in charge. LVG did say he needed 3 months, so all I can suggest that if the fans are not happy with that, then move on. I am sure there will be another team doing well you can all move on to, but does it make you a true fan? Not in a year of Sundays. So stop bitching, and accept we are under a new regime.
DG of course. But Evans I think is a fergie player (is only good for the old master)...so we need to get rid
