Jen, get out into the countryside and go on some nice long walks (when it stops raining!) - perhaps by the sea. Friends and family are important as others have said. Give yourself plenty of space and time to be yourself, and focus on the things you enjoy the most. That said, TV and internet probably aren't so helpful...

Things can only get better!

Radio 2 have just announced their top 10 guitar riffs of all time, which song would make your list?

OK with the winner and with most in the top 10, but surprised there's nothing by the Stones. Jumpin' Jack Flash would be my choice, but I have to say the Johnny Winter version knocks spots off the original:

In other news, I'm off for a 7 course curry tonight, then Kate Bush tomorrow.

Other people in the audience tomorrow should probably be forewarned about the 7 course curry bit......

I'm so jealous, did you get tickets because you're in the "industry" LTL?... oh well, at least I can eat a curry!
I wonder if the performances will be as theatrical as her last show at Hammersmith in 1979!

Hmm hard call but if I had to choose one;

Judas Priest - Electric Eye

Although there are so many great ones...not a bad list though.

Why on earth is Bryan Adams - Summer of '69* not there?!

* or '09 as I change it to, as that was quite an amazing summer

The summer of 69 was a momentous time for mankind......... oh, by the way, I'll be 45 on Friday :biggrin:

Back when I lived in deepest, darkest Kent, I used to pop into the local, 50 yards away, when I got home from work. Inside would be my cribbage rival, Barry the Poacher [no, I'm not kidding]. He was also a chimney sweep.
Anyway, we decided to have a competition. Barry set the target, which was first to 100 games. So we started off and round about the 4th game we were 2-2. Then it suddenly dawned on me. We could end up playing 199 games. What Barry meant was best of 100, but anyway we stuck to it. I came out the winner. 100 to 98. It took us months. The winner was bought a bottle of Southern Comfort. The loser, a bottle of Whisky. Entertaining.

knowing how competitive my mate and I are with each other, I wouldn't be surprised if we continue in a similar vein.

Was watching a documentary about her on BBC4 the other day, I love how she sings in a really loud voice, but when she talks she has a soft cockney accent.
