Nope.. Quite the opposite. Saints were my 'second team' if you will.

We've lost you as well this summer?

This is the final straw!

On LFC, that Markovic looks like an exciting player. Losing Suarez & eventually Gerrard is going to be tough, though you have plenty of players who have the potential to get to that world class level. Sturridge, Sterling & the aforementioned Markovic.
Agree with the majority of pundits i've read that fourth place would be an excellent result for Liverpool. This is essentially a transitional season. Not a Southampton style re-build, but you've added an extension and that will take a little time to adapt too.

Haha I'm a big loss. Why do you think you had such a strong team ethic last season? Look what happened to the Empire when the Emperor died, that's all I'll say.

Yes for me 4th would be brilliant.

The only new signing nailed on to start tomorrow is Lovren... Lallana probably will start when fit as will Moreno but otherwise they're squad signings right now. Think that's the difference with us and Spurs last season for instance.

We're looking to all of Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho and Henderson to take their game to another level this season - hopefully they relish the responsibility without the easy pass to Luis.

Be disappointed if Forster does start. I think it would have made more sense if Boruc started - it's a tough game and he will have a better understanding with the defence. I feel he's proved himself worthy to start as he was good last season, plus if Boruc has a bad game it means the fans would accept Forster coming in and he'll have a potentially easier first game. If Boruc plays well, then that's good for the club anyway, and Forster can come in if Boruc's performance drops.

On the other hand, if Forster starts and has a shocker, it might knock his confidence, plus fans might get on his and the club's back for spending so much on someone who may appear no better, or worse, than Boruc. I suppose he could have a great first game and create a good bond with the fans, I just feel that there is a greater risk of it being a negative outcome against Liverpool.

You're overthinking this. All Koeman will do is pick the best goalkeeper (in his opinion)...I'm quite sure that will be all he is thinking.

Just looked at the training gallery...good to see Morgan there. He may not be up to full fitness yet, but I'm sure he will now put his best effort in, partly for his own self respect and partly because he wants to be in the next France squad. What a happy little soul Gaston is...looks oblivious to everything going on around him...can just imagine him on match day, 'Where's Adam, haven't seen him recently.'

It doesn't seem worth it. The roof blocks the view and the seats are on the same level as the row in front, so you can't see the pitch unless you're a full head taller than the people you're behind.

Decided to not go in the end based on the fact that the only seats left were severely restricted. Probably a good choice.

Round my girlfriend's tomorrow who doesn't have Sky Sports (or so she says), but she said I can watch a stream on her laptop! :)

*puts thumb on forehead*

Get down the pub!

I'm going to be all loud and rowdy in my Saints jacket while I watch it in the traditional Liverpool supporting city of Brighton.
