This is something I seemed to have missed...
What was Van Gaal's criticism of Shaw. Or is this just an assumption based on how LVG comes across?

Van Gaal made a few comments about how unfit Shaw is, and put him on his own extra training sessions concentrated on fitness.

It does seem strange that Shaw was unfit considering how hard MOPO was supposed to have pushed the players. Surely he could not have lost much fitness unless all he did during his time with England was eat pies and pull his todger whilst trying to chat up strippers

Am I the only one on here who feels no resentment towards the players who've left? In an environment that is designed to make money and nothing else, players know they are commodities from the word go and when they get the chance to stick their fingers into a bigger and tastier pie, they take it. Their time came, they went. Concepts like "loyalty"are just irrelevant in the EPL. Bastards.

I think you answered your own question there.

I resent the way Adam and Dejan dealt with it but happens at most clubs.

Same. I'd have felt aggrieved with Lovren leaving after only a season, but it was made a lot worse the way he went about his transfer. Same goes for Adam. Would have happily let him leave with my best wishes if he hadn't behaved like a prick.

Brilliant!

Why is Cork leaving - a brilliant player who has saved the side many times. Also great cover at RB if Clyne gets injured. Really sad to see him go
