Who is to say that Long wants to leave ? It could well be his wife who is the driver of this whole thing. She is from Reading. So far nothing has happened officially.

It has been insane. The amount of money in football is scary. I read yesterday that Porto have made £430m in player sales in the last 10 years.

The local USL team not even an MLS team mind you is considering spending $100 million on a new stadium. There is no chance they are even good enough to beat our development team. They currently play in an empty field turned pitch in the center of a fair grounds.
When I've seen him play, he has been impressive. He's big and strong and mobile. He's not as quick and tenacious as Long, but he is good in the air and a good finisher. He'd be a better replacement for Jelavic.
