That bit of footage was encouraging however it was 2012/13 I hear he was injured some last year but if Brighton fans happy with 2.5 mill not gonna get to excited over this one although happier as a squad player than I thought I would be of him
Sunderland have agreed a £2.5million fee with Brighton for winger Will Buckley, according to Sky sources. Buckley was Brighton's record signing when Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, then in charge at the Amex, paid Watford £1m for him in June 2011. The 24-year-old is also reportedly attracting attention of West Brom, who Sunderland face in their Premier League opener at the Hawthorns on Saturday. Poyet has already signed Jack Rodwell, Billy Jones, Jordi Gomez, Costel Pantilimon and Patrick van Aanholt this summer and has also been linked with a permanent move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, who was on loan at the club last season. Oldham-born Buckley began his career at Rochdale before signing for Watford in January 2010. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...6325million-fee-for-brighton-for-will-buckley

Never ever seen him play, this is more of a quantity signing than a quality i suspect. Borini next then 2 domestic loans (centre half & Centre Mid) and that sounds about a wrap for us this window.

Born in Oldham and supports the mags, what a f**ing t**t, hang the cnut.. I knar he supports the mags, massive Baz telt is...and he's always right. Is that true
For Buckley, his goal against Newcastle, unfairly chalked up as a Mike Williamson own goal, has crowned a golden run of form for the 22-year-old wide forward, who had scored three goals in his three previous games. He had already written himself into Falmer folklore by scoring twice as Brighton came from behind to win the first competitive fixture at their new stadium, against Doncaster. Now, he did so again; against the team he supported as a boy, no less.
With Sunderland signing this pile of donkey **** there is no chance we be buying Rodriguez now. I thought maybe for once Sunderland will start signing the next level up players from now on but no we start signing championship **** players again. ****ing joke & whats going to piss me off more is Poyet will pick this lump of geordie lard over Mavrais. it wouldn't surprise me if the lad left now.
