If getting into this CL is the only thing keeping us in the next five CLs, then we really don't deserve to be in the next five CLs.
Not the point I'm making

It's no the ****ing Barras where you can barter as you please. I'm pretty sure UEFA would consider that bribery.
You realise it's a business not a charity organisation?
I agreed with the Liega owner, Celtic have acted poorly and unprofessionally by effectively dingying phones, and against the supposed values of the club.
How refreshing it could have been for Celtic to let Liega back in because they deserved it, we would have got worldwide recognition as the type of club we want people to think we are, people will be happy to see us embarrassed in the groups now.
We would still have enjoyed the hun beel from being reinstated, and probably got even more if we had acted with that kind of dignity.
A real chance missed to enhance our reputation, sold for a cpl of million quid that the fans will never see. I would have been proud to be Celtic if they done it.
And even if they didnt want to do it, at least answer the phone and tell Liega straight, pathetic.
Eric, what if there was a rematch (which Legia won) and set off a run of 5 years without Cl money for us, would you be cool with that?

Last time I checked
"Celtic Football Club was formally constituted at a meeting in St. Mary's church hall in East Rose Street, Calton, Glasgow, by Irish Marist Brother Walfrid on 6 November 1887, with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the East End of Glasgow by raising money for the charity Walfrid had instituted. Brother Walfrid had only charitable motives for the club."

No I think they're dirty fascists
But even dirty fascists have been known to play fair

Yep at least that way it is fair.

5 year with no CL money and downsizing to the point of being an irrelevance? no thanks! I thought we had already done the "right thing" by sticking to the rules, anything Legia say after the event has no bearing, as the appeal board will show.
If my club was acting like Legia I'd be f**king embarrassed![]()
It's not really for nothing
They did scump us
Ok the rules put us through but if it's true that we could have let Legia through in our stead then 20 million wouldn't buy you the goodwill we would have received from that decision
More than a business
POLISH FA chief Zbigniew Boniek has branded Legia Warsaw incompetent – as fresh evidence from key figure Bartosz Bereszynski last night blew a gaping hole in his club’s appeal to UEFA.
Bereszynski’s three-minute appearance as a sub against Celtic at Murrayfield led to the Scottish champions’ controversial reinstatement to the Champions League.
Legia’s failure to register the defender for the previous round against St Patrick’s meant he was technically still banned for the ties against Ronny Deila’s team.
And, in a stunning new twist, Record Sport understands Bereszynski raised the suspension issue with Legia hierarchy BEFORE the game.
Polish sources have revealed Warsaw keeper Dusan Kuciak tipped his team-mate off to a potential problem before the Murrayfield clash but that Bereszynski was assured by the club he was clear to play.
UEFA will hear Legia’s appeal against expulsion in Nyon this morning but the new calamity surrounding their blunder provides damning evidence.

It's not true. The rules don't have a clause for a team stepping aside, not that i've seen. No club in the world would simply step aside even if the rules allowed for it.
