No. That's because one of our managers is relatively early on in his career, is clued up on sports science, the foreign markets and up-and-coming youth players, and the other manager is out of touch and only signs overpriced players who, like himself, are well-known and well past it.
Pearson has had success wherever he went. He kept southampton up and look where they are now. He got us Promoted and had play off success in his reign. He also got hull promoted in heinzeit as he opted to join us. And ofcourse we are champions. This means it is his time. He has worked towards this goal by creating the oppertunities for players to grow. He never swapped the team around and we came back strong. On a side note harry is a bimbo
@John__Percy: Cambiasso ongoing, another Deeney bid likely. Vardy close to signing new deal. Wood wants to fight for his place
He won't end up having as good a managerial career as Redknapp , don't care if he does know sports science, I'm safe saying that!!
What's the biggest club Redknapp has managed? How major major trophies has he won? Thirty years in the game, he's hardly blew the world away! Relatively inexperienced managers like Brendan Rogers have already surpassed him. 'Arry's only so well-known because he's been around so long, he's a bit of a (dodgy) character and his son is shagging Louise.
I agree with this. What the f** has Redknapp ever done to be considered a good manager? He's tactically inept, his only solution to problems is to throw money at it and hope it works out. Also, he comes across as a right dodgy geezer and he's always waiting around in his car so the lingering press can interview him about transfer targets. Pearson's a boring f**er, but I'd have him at my team a thousand times over Redknapp. The only people that like the saggy-faced **** are the mongs who watch Soccer AM and unfortunately for them, the fans of the team he manages.
Cambiasso signed. Club very impressed with his attitude and he's been offered a similar deal to Kevin Phillips (coaching role). Will be announced on press day (Thursday) to what's likely to be a very interesting press conference. (Source - 'qwerty' on FoxesTalk - Gets everything spot on)
John Percy said talks was ongoing earlier but until its confirmed by either the club, Stringer, Tanner or JP then wouldn't believe anything
Excellent news ... if indeed true ... a statement of intent ... will be dismissed by the media as 'gimmicky' of course ... contrast with if Chelsea or Arsenal had signed Pirlo in which case the 'London' press would need a container load of Kleenex to mop up the mess ... think this is brilliant for our club (again if true) ...
qwerty posts very little on Foxestalk unless he is absolutely sure of his facts. Believe what he says, but still want to see it on the official site.
He never said anything about Frazier Campbell having a medical, only Fourth Officlal JP linked us with Connor Wickham and Leo Ulloa
True. Just look at the Drogba re-signing. I know there's more emotion attached to it, but the guy is 36! Hardly likely to rip up the league.
All getting a little frustrating now. So many he said. She said. He's signing he's passed his medical, wil be announced tomorrow, he's at the airport, he's been spotted in London blah blah lol Just fooking sign already .
He (qwerty) is normally very reliable but has been wrong in the past. It was him who said Pearson had been fired last summer so I'll wait for official confirmation. Looking promising though.
