Random contribution to the thread? Morgan our captain and the other two (back up players) both internationals.
As for Paul bloody McShame and Alex Bruce being better than these. <laugh> bless ya

They are, you can have one if you want to improve your defence.

We're not saying that we're going smash this league too, and survive with consummate ease.

All we are saying is, to write our team off as not being good enough because no1 has played there is ludicrous.

From a team who were in the same league last season, and who somewhat struggled at times themselves, finishing 22 points behind us, to turn around and tell US that WE aren't good enough is just a little disrespectful if I'm honest.

Our merry bunch of "unproven" players outperformed yours last season. But now you're miles better than us?

Thought I posted on here my thoughts that you'd stay up ?

Wouldn't be a struggle at all , most people in the game think he's a good manager ( not clueless biased message board numpties!)

Sorry mate, I know Harry Redknapp is your friend, but even outside of a football forum and in the real world, you'd be hard pushed to find many who would agree that ol 'Arry is STILL a good manager.

Nothing he has done in his time at yourselves has suggested to me that he still has what it takes.

Again I ask : You do know we were promoted last season? So far starters he had what it "took" to do that . Now we'll see if he has "what it takes" to keep us up. I think he has. His vast prem experience will be invaluable! Pearson got much?

You're using your same and only arguement against us doing well again Redknapps mrs. Answer this, if we're doomed because Pearson and the players have a lack of experience what about Pochetino when he came to S'ton, Lambert when he came up with Norwich and Rodgers with Swansea when they all managed in the prem for the first time? I believe they all survived comfortably and have all ended up being poached by bigger clubs. Your arguement if you pleaae

Yes, I am aware that you went up last season (mainly due to your presence on this board <laugh>)

Sorry, but taking the most expensively assembled squad in the league, with a wage bill larger than that of a CL finalist, and finishing 22 points off top and bundling your way through the playoffs does not scream out to me that he’s good enough to keep you up.
I also just did some research on your last PL escapade. So ‘Arry took over after 12 games? And between then and the end of the season, with a whole January transfer window to improve the squad, managed to win a mighty 4 games out of the remaining 26? Let me get my calculator… That’s a 15% win percentage… Wow, I can totally see why you’re optimistic this season <whistle>

Will you honestly, please stop banging on about “Premiership experience” like it’s the be all and end all?

Our manager, and team, with no experience, absolutely smashed your experienced prima donnas in every respect last season. We won more games. We scored more goals. We conceded less. We finished TWENTY TWO points ahead of you.

But it’s okay, you’re more likely to stay up, because it’s your players and manager who have the “experience”, right?
