Onouha's fantastic. He was great for us in the prem (which none of your players have experienced), and the best CB in one of last season's meanest defences. Isla was brilliant in a great Chilli side at the World Cup...but oh no, QPR have signed him so he must be crap. Traore's better suited to wingback than he was LB. If you 'breezed past' us why did you manage to score so few? We totally bossed you at Loftus Road but you pulled off a smash + grab (according to all the press too).

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nedum_Onuoha

"An outstanding junior sprinter; aged 14 he finished in second place in the final of the 2001 English School's Athletics Association Junior 100 metres contest, clocking 11.09 seconds and beating current Great Britain sprinter Craig Pickering.[4]

He is also currently the co-national record holder for boys under 15 standing triple jump, in the Sports Hall events held annually throughout the UK, the record is held with international long jumper Jonathan Moore."

Correction, at 14 he was faster tan Vardy is now. Craig pickering's current PB is 10.14btw.

What even is your current back 4? Upson + Wes at CB? Deary me...and you're telling us about a lack of pace.

Lionel Messi have no prem experience so I take it he wouldn't be a good signing then.

Wow he run a race as a 14 year old and your trying to compare him to a professional footballer <laugh>

I take it the result of that race also means he is faster then Usain Bolt, Just to clarify for you. All the race proved was he was the fastest person involved in the race. Nothing more, Nugent left Onouha for dead at our place and Vardy is a hell of a lot faster then Nugent

Our back 4- Schlupp, Wes, Moore and De Laet are all quick players. Yet to see anyone do them for pace

Not convinced about Wes for pace but definitely the other 3 are as quick as anyone, Schlupp is rapid as is De Laet. Add that to the pace of Mahrez, Knocky, Vardy that's an area we have in abundance

Wes is deceptively fast, with his size and strength aswell getting the ball past him is 1 thing but running past him is completely another. The rare occasions people knock the ball past Wes either Wasyl, Moore, De Laet or Kasper will sweep up

Fair point, I wasn't saying he's slow but I guess next to Schlupp and De Laet! Still think Wes is as fast as caulker and most of the QPR defence

Your posts are some of the hardest to fathom on this board. 1) You criticised one of our defenders, so I said he did well for us in a league none of your defenders have done well in. Why're you talking about Messi?

    (2) This is where things get really bizarre. No...Usain Bolt was faster than Onouha when they were both 14.
Do you know how fast 11.09 seconds is? Are you suggesting since developing as a man/athlete he'll have got slower? Here's an article called "World Football: Fastest 100m sprinters". 11 seconds is pretty much the benchmark
    http://www.givemesport.com/347454-world-football-fastest-100m-sprinters

And your video has just demonstrated my point. Even from a standing start, on the turn, once Nugent had already accelerated- Onouha still got there in time. He just didn't put his leg in the way of the ball.
I've literally never seen Onouha beaten for pace in a 1v1, because he's literally one of the fastest footballers in England.

Onouha got their alright, right after Nugent had smashed it into the back of the net. Onouha is **** and isn't nowhere near as fast as you seem to think. Wouldn't swap him for any of our centre halfs unless you want Matt Upson

<doh> I give you the figures yet you still don't think he's fast. Just total delusion
We all think he's our best CB but I guess you know best <ok>
None of your CBs would make it into our top 4. All of Onouha, Caulker, Rio, and Dunne are better.

I would take Morgan, Moore, Wasilewski and Upson over yours.

You've never even seen Upson(35) play a competitive game for you yet. Moore, Morgan(30) and Wasilewski(34) have zero PL experience- and the latter two are old men.
Barring Burnley, I can't think of a worse selection of CB's in the PL.

"Onuoaha still got there in time"

    Hahahaha f*cking brilliant <laugh>

    Keep 'em coming, Grifter.

Btw, couldn't give two hoots about how fast Onouaha was when was 14. But thanks all the same...

    Don't read it then <ok>
If Leicester fans suggest our backline is slow, then I'm going to remind them that one of our CB's was faster at 14 than all your forwards are now.

Also Nugent + Vardey's marginally above average pace is only effective V poor championship defences. They'll be marshalled with something to spare by those in the PL. Still...you've got Leonard Ulloa to lump it up to.

Come on Grif, stop digging that hole its getting bigger by the second pal......

So in essence you are saying we cannot give an opinion on Upson.... as in your words "we have never seen him play a competitive game for Leicester" hmmmmmmm

So why is it, that you can draw the same opinions for Caulker and old man Rio??? They have not played a "competitive" game for you yet!!!!!

Fairs fair sunshine..... you can't have it both ways! <laugh>

You think Vardy's pace is only hair above average? That's a joke, he's rapid! You don't get slower coz it's a higher division! And you wouldn't swap Dunne who's past or for England U21 star defender Liam Moore? Also shows your lack of level headed discussion

To suggest Vardy has only "marginally above average pace" is about as ludicrous as some of the comments you are accusing us of Grif. To be fair now you have Dunne and Hill out of the defence, your pace at the back will increase..... al be it marginally above average.

I'm sure most defences will marshall our forwards with a lot more ease than in the Championship (not rocket science really is it) but thats the challenge we face of being in arguably the best league in the world. We will give it our best shot!

I'm trying not to, but you're mentioning it every bloody post <doh>

How old is he now? 27?

Have you got any stats on his pace, that like, aren't 13 years old?
