See a previous comment of mine regarding Deeney about Redknapp just going in for players Pearson is after as he can't find good players himself, once again seems to be the case. Can QPR find any players of there own!

The Redknapp who is famous in the game for his ability to pick a player ?

You won't find an article like that written in the last three years. He's become a bit of a joke at QPR I'm afraid. But to me he's a manager who always follows the money, hence him going to clubs like Portsmouth and yourselves. A British Sven.
Not true. All his signings at QPR that he's paid a transfer fee for have been a success. (Chris Samba was a Tony Fernandes deal first lined up when Hughes was manager)
And him joining a small & select group of managers to be promoted back to the prem at the first attempt makes him far from a joke!! No mean feat.
You should have walked the league last year with that squad. In the end, you were lucky (as is any team that relies on the play-offs). A relegation and failure to get automatic is not success. A relegation again this season will surely see him retire in shame.
Give me a lucky manager rather than a good one then! As Napoleon said!
And the highlighted bit is absolute bollocks! How long were you lot down for? Think about it.
Gangsters comment wouldn't apply to every club but in QPRs case last season it was underachievement despite the end result being the same but in answer to your question, we had a succession of managers who failed whic is gangsters point which is why it's taken 10 years to rebuild and get promoted again.
Also, I am far from a WUM as you should see from my comments an say it how I see it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure earlier in the summer Redknapp stated he prefers to sign players he has worked with before, (on the subject of spotting a player that is)
A relegation again this season will surely see him retire in shame.
He'd end up like Granero at QPR. The Dramas have a habit of making decent players s**t within a season. Decent signing for Leicester if it happens.

What a tit, he's only annoyed because it's true.
I'll disagree with the underachievement comment, outsiders don't appreciate the toxic mess we were in. He did say something about signing players he 'knows', I think he meant 'knows' are good lads & not wrong uns who might disrupt his right sort revolution!!
I was going to say, 'fingers crossed'.
But I don't think luck will come into it. QPR will go down with a whimper.
