Ewan Murray of The Guardian says that Forster will undergo a medical in Southampton tomorrow morning.

 

I really hope Boruc stays and fights for his place, or at least see out his remaining (year?) of his contract then can leave next Summer.

 

John Ruddy may have been a cheaper alternative, and proven in the Premiership

 

I'd rather keep some sort of stability and continuity in the side. Getting a capable backup keeper would cost much less and allow us to spend more money on areas of the team that need it more. Our quality and depth in attacking areas is piss poor right now.

Boruc is getting on, we need a younger first choice and Forster is the perfect option.

I really don't get why people don't think we need another keeper. Boruc wasn't that good at the end of last season and I think Gazziniga seem to concede almost every time a shot was on target

 

Happy with this one. This lad seems like he has the makings of a top keeper. Only 26, so £10m for a potential starter for the next 10 years, isn't too bad.

 

Cup games + any injuries to FF in return for a free to Legia next summer. Seems fair.

 

Get the impression Saints would like to parade him at the game tomorrow. Hopefully we give him a decent contract, as in length. Newcastle give out 6 year deals all the time, so I reckon at least 5 for young Fraser.

Going to be strange having such a different side. Over the past few years, we have added a few players every season, but have carried on playing the same. This season will be interesting and a bit scary.

He's really not that old for a goalkeeper. I just think we need other players more. When Koeman came in our first choice striker was Sam Gallagher for goodness sake. And who are our first choice (fit) wingers? Tadic and... Isgrove?
