Signing one CB is essential.
Signing two CBs is highly, highly desirable.
Signing three CBs would be a touch greedy, but still very useful - especially if one of them can also play full-back. Would allow us to offload Jos, whilst also not having to rely on Yoshida too much (if at all).
Fonte and Rojo first choice, Vlaar and Yoshida back-up.

Danny Seaborne. So we have a CB waiting in the wings if we don't get Rojo, I want both thoughAny idea of who it may be, is it VVD?
3 is too much, 2 would still be harsh on fonte
That is very strange. Medicals are normally done after everything else is agreed is it not?So, medical was done for a centre-back - that is not Rojo. Deal may not happen, dependent on whether we get Rojo.
I don't think that we can really eschew improving simply to keep a starting role wide open for Fonte, especially as he'd assuredly see plenty of time even if he got bumped down the pecking order a little.

Would assume that would include transfer fee wages etc etc/
Yeah, I understand all that I'd be happy with two new centre backs, it'd just be a little harsh is all
The cb who had a medical, but may not be coming, must either be mad or ****.
