You may have your moment in the sun Mighty, but as its your cup final, it'll be all down hill from then on. Us on the other hand will be heading in the right direction towards eventual top 6/promotion sometime sooner than the 'Wall.

Indeed Milky, and with Austin's role being generally DM albeit with the capacity to get box to box, it will be interesting to see how whatever formation the Hock settles on develops.

Morning all ... one thing about Cellino, he is a doer and gets on with it ... as Cellino says, let's have a look after the first few games where we are in terms of challenging, we may be pleasantly surprised ... Ross can get fcuked now, what a stupid fcuking statement to make, and I think Fulham will struggle to walk it as expected because they have a Sgt Major for a manager who makes them run and run and run, and his squad are not happy bunnies, can see Magath being sacked by November ... compared to recent seasons this season's transfer activity so far has been unbelievable, signing talented young players, actually spending money, long may it continue ... on signings can you actually believe that Forest have gone and paid £5.5m (rising to £8m) for Assombalonga from Peterborough, WTF is going on, not even Ross was worth that fee, just crazy, and now the lad will be playing at a club where promotion is expected with a hefty price tag on his head (club record) so watch him implode under the pressure that never existed at London Road ... now, team for Saturday (and I think this is what Hock will do):

Silvestri ... Byram, Sorensen, Pearce, Warnock ... Bianchi, Murphy, Austin, Tonge, Morison ... Smith

Team I'd like to see:

Silvestri ... Byram, Sorensen, Pearce, Warnock ... Bianchi, Murphy, Austin ... Morison, Smith, Doukara

We shall see, but most important thing for us is that we win, because if we want to contend we need to be beating teams like Millwall, Barnsley, Blackpool etc.

Quite right Billy, we certainly need to be beating the rubbish outfits in the division. Ooops forgot my humility already <cheers>

In fairness Boggers, Gretna green will likely be promoted to the pl before milwall <ok>

& after the mighty Celtic were stuffed by a nothing outfit from Poland, Gretna's arrival in the SPL can only raise the quality of the division. Cue song

Greeeetnnaaa Greeeen, Gretna Green FC are by far the greatest team, that Scotland's ever seen....

4-5 weeks ago i had no confidence for the season whatsoever.

Now with the signings we've made, i'm just gutted i'm not going Saturday.

We may not get off to a flyer, but i think we'll do alright this season, better than a lot of people are expecting.

Morning all <ok>

Back from my holidays and into the land of wifi and easily accessible internet again! Need to get caught up on what has been happening over the last 7 days as I've doubtless missed some signings etc, then theres a bit of prep work to do for this seasons match threads. The Leeds / Millwall one will appear this afternoon though, so get ready for some football talk again!

And remember, this time, if were in contention at xmas, we have an owner who will not hesitate to make whatever improvements required for the second half of the season unlike previous pot less owners who let chances slip away and almost got us relegated

Reading the Daily Star article, I hope Smith has been misquoted; otherwise hope he never plays for us again.

Fulham - bigger club wtf....

Afternoon everyone

Good morning Matt and co from a cloudy cote de Bardsey
Now not let us get carried away we are not there yet but I feel we should sign Agard to give stability on the right and a striker given those 2 we have a great chance depending on how the TEAM gel
We now have a strong back 4 I would play Berarto Sorenson Pearce and The lad who played at left6 back in place of Warnock Taylor
McCormack maybe the worst buy Fulham will ever make remember he took a great deal of time to settle in Leeds and already has a fall out with the manager this will cause unrest with his team mates so I have written them off for promotion
Mike

Afternoon Mike, we do need a bit of width now....

Morning all... If we are after another striker I believe it is wave goodbye to Smith after Saturday

Smith is coming to Millwall <ok> sad day for you lot youll just have to wait 561 days for the Posh bloke to get his first <whistle>

Nothing wrong with that at all - he is saying Fulham are a step up on Leeds, which they are - a big one!!
