The yes campaign are trying to distance themselves from Alex Salmond after he was taken apart by Alistair Darling, with the audience booing him. So after allowing Salmond to front the Yes campaign with no objections, they now want to distance themselves after losing the debate Salmond was craving for.

It's a large portakabin tucked away in the corner of what they now refer to as "Tottenham Square", or the area where the end of the west stand and the end of the north stand meet.
It opened after the start of the 13/14 season and has become increasingly popular, mainly I believe because the bar service in there is excellent. Several large screens, a relaxed atmosphere, although not much seating area and I can recommend it. You do need to show your members card or season ticket to gain entry though.

Alastair Darling has a lot of cred as a politician (tone of voice, never seems to get personal, had the
short straw as Chancellor when things really went to hell and did ok etc) . So he would be a good rep
for any major campaign/debate (whatever side he takes) .

Salmond was always going to be found out on a proper debate rather then his usual safe surroundings of local media in Scotland (with no one to challenge him) where he was seen as the man challenging the English Government.
But as you say, Alastair Darling is cool, calm and isn't interested in the nonsense that goes with people like Salmond and Nigel Farage.
Alistair Darling was an accomplished chancellor. There remains a great deal of respect for him in The City over the way he handled the 2007-8 financial crisis.
You watched a different programme to me. The currency question is difficult for Salmond because it is a ploy by the NO camp. The question is not answerable until after the referendum which is why Better Together keep asking it. Salmond did as well as it is possible to do given the set up. On the rest of it he was IMO clearly well in control winning most of the applause. The story that he lost is spin from the biased media and Westminster.
UK is DESPERATE to keep Scotland and the only way they can is with the usual dirty tricks.
Salmond should ask Darling what his plan B is in the event of a YES vote. None of the Labour Liberals or Tories want to answer this one.
Scotlands currency issue will be sorted after the referendum, it pails into insignificance compared to the UK's debt problem which will continue for decades. The question is where is the UK heading rather than any worry about a small wealthy country finding its way in the world.
Scotland has a chance to leave the mess that is the UK.
Exclude from my biased media point STV who are doing a much better job than BBC Scotland.
If we get rid of Scotland i assume that Scotland will not meet criteria to be in the EU. Does that mean we can evict all the Scottish people from our UK jobs?

Sounds like you are angling for civil war! Scotland is already in the EU and I doubt they can be thrown out simply because of this change.
