But would you want to expose him to this site!

I have no worries about my eldest, he is a very clever lad and isn't easily swayed either. The next one though, does concern me. He do anything you tell him <laugh>

You're all old apart from Magic, Enricky, Crumpet and myself <ok>

Case closed.

Now stick to the topic.

I was born in County Tyrone NI, got 4 brothers (and 4 sisters) and none of us or my dad followed any football whatsoever. We played Gaelic in my school as football was frowned upon.

I didn't really get into football until I came to the mainland and witnessed how passionate english fans were about the game. The 1990 world cup was my first taste of football that I really enjoyed as I lived with a large Irish community in West London, that summer was amazing.

Liverpool were the team that was always winning things up until then so I guess that tipped it for me(yes I am glory hunter, burn me at the stake).

I know very little about the game but I do enjoy watching it. My wife and 2 sons are Mancs, in fact all my brothers & sisters in law are all Mancs too so it's a bit one sided most Saturdays. Last season was fun though.

I was born in 1966 <monster>

Best story yet <applause>

Dad from Bootle, mum from Croxteth, school in Gill Moss, grandparents from Old Swan & Huyton.

Dad & mum were reds, siblings reds, grandparents were blues.

Mum one day casually mentioned I was born out of town way down south.

Thank ****.

Shouldn't you support Bournemouth then?
