Been around you too long sweetcheeks Besides, he basically said thank **** he wasn't a Liverpool fan so deserved it
I had two grandads, one that supported Liverpool from Burscough and one from Salford who supported united. Burscough grandad was the first to take me to my first game of football so that was who I supported. With the death of my grandad whilst I was still quite young it became improbable that I would get to games so I ended up attending my home town which was Burnley as I could get myself to games at little cost. Don't care that I have two teams, Liverpool will always be my number one but I am happy to see both in prem
My Younger brother was born fairly close to Burnley, Wiswell, and my dad was born in Blackburn and brought up (well dragged, really!) in Whalley. Small world, dude.
Long story and one that is not really something I want to post. RHC know's my story. Put it this way I was born in Liverpool and had no choice but to leave when I was very young (to London) with my dad that I didn't really know. This was due to a major tradedgy that killed all my immediate family in one go. There's more to my story, but it's not something I fancy posting
Sorry to hear that, Sky. You seem a fairly happy fellow now and so, I guess, it's a case of 'all's well that ends well'. When I look back at my childhood, I can't help but recall Phillip Larkin's superb poem --which, if you don't mind, I'll quote in full: I love that poem. It fills me with nostalgic ambivalence.
