No exclamation mark, no validity. You now have to take full responsibility that we won't sign him. Crazy fool.

This has got me torn. On the one hand it is obvious that a signing like Hernandez would be a pretty big coup for Saints and I am sure he would do well for us. On the other hand I ****ing despise footballers like him who (seemingly, although maybe unfair to judge on his time at Utd due to little game time and the role he was used for) do nothing else apart from putting the ball in the net. Yes I realise this is a pretty important part of the game, but I just don't like players who 95% of their game is this and if they aren't getting the chances handed to them it feels like you are playing with 10 men.

Either way I am pretty confident this won't happen due to the players rep and stature within the game

Sorry to spoil the fun but I've done my title-changing duties once more. Chicharito might be the name on his shirt but we have rules about this sort of thing you know Artur (lord knows why, but we do <doh>)

Thats a bit strong isn't it? If we had someone like that last year we'd have definitely won more games.

As you went on to say, its a pretty important part of the game!

I take Saintmagic's point but if we continue the pressing game under Koeman, and from the friendlies so far it seems we are, then anyone playing up top becomes the first line of defence when we haven't got possession. If, by some miracle, Chicharito did come here, tackling back and closing down, not to mention passing the ball, would have to be part of his game.

Apart from that, he can carry on scoring goals as much as he likes!

He runs his socks off across the opponents back line.
