    Below average, sure.

Selected for England after a handful of PL appearances at 20, below average <doh>

We'll no doubt have to win the CL before they drop for the full amount, lol.

£28 is a lot but he is good and Everton know what they're getting.

Doubt it I'd expect you are paying through the nose but hey...bow is right Everton paid for the loan and know where they are at with it.... But 28 mil is rather a large sum so.... No longer can you guffaw at lallana fee you just doubled nearly double your previous record on a Chelsea reserve ;)

Is that £28m straight up front or with add ons, cause thats a big fee for any club (Bar Real or Barca). Had a good season for them last year, but at that price he'll need to have a great season. Anything over £25m for a striker is for a 20+ goal scorer. Its alot of eggs in one basket, but who knows, fits the club (obviously) and has plenty of time on his side.

Don't know the details of it mate if I'm honest.

Completely agree on eggs in one basket.

To be fair they'll probably look at value Barry if he was in contract and subtract some of that.

Barry and Lukaku for £28 is fairly good business.

We can't take the piss out of Lallana because we've signed a lad who's only been out scored in the PL in the last 2 seasons by Suarez and RvP?

    Ok mate x

Problem is, much like any time you get players on loan, is you then have to buy them to only in theory "stand still". You've not improved the squad on previous season personnel wise.
