Well, at least he's English so he probably has more chance than of being in the curriculum than Harper Lee who has the audacity to not be English.

Had an enormous burrito for lunch which fell apart under its own weight. Gonna miss this job whenever they decide to stop paying me to browse Not606 and eat burritos.

Remember how in FIFA 94 you would avoid getting carded as long as you kept running away from the ref? Great times.

Too young to have had FIFA 94, but that is funny.

Southampton U15s make it three wins out of three in the Milk Cup Junior Section, beating County Londonderry 2-0.

    :(

It still scares me that there are ADULTS too young to remember France '98. 1994/5 was when I started watching football, but I wasn't paying attention when the World Cup was on so I have no memory of it.

Earliest memory watching football on TV is Everton beating United in 1995, and my earliest memory of seeing it in a stadium is St Albans v Chelsea at Clarence Park in the summer of the same year.

That's also the year we got our first PC in the house (at Christmas) so my first experience of gaming will have been around 1996 I suppose.

Don't remember 1998 at all. I remember Beckham's **** penalty in 2002 and people coming into school crying after Brazil knocked us out.

I don't remember much of France '98. My only clear memories are England being knocked out and the final.

I don't remember any of World Cup 98. My earliest football memory would be the FA Cup Final where Michael Owen beat Arsenal...or was it the Worthington Cup...can't remember exactly.

[edit] It was the FA Cup Final, 2001.

Here's a thought that just blew my mind a little - you're presumably too young to remember United beating Bayern in 1999 as well.

My earliest football memory is England getting knocked out of Euro 96 by Germany. 1998 was the first tournament I properly followed. Remember coming home from school and watching Brazil v Scotland.

My earliest gaming memory was probably Sim City or Lemmings on the school computers, though there were some other games we played at school around the sae time (one involving controlling badger) and a WW1 flight simulator so not sure which one was first per say. Got my first PC in around 1995.

Don't remember that either. My brother was a big Man Utd fan and went to bed upset around the 90th minute of that game! <laugh>

There are two games in my mind which are tied for the best last-minute drama ever. That, and Italy v Germany in 2006.
